2021 full renovation to this charming cottage on Lake Hartwell. Enjoy the privacy of the woods and convenience of a covered boat slip. Property is located in Gumlog and is perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The neighborhood roads are privately maintained and a great place for walks and to enjoy nature. Tugaloo State Park is 2 miles away from the cottage and offers trails, swimming, and boat ramp. Boats are available to rent at nearby marina.

The House was perfect and had everything we needed and more. The location on the lake was great. And the owners allowed us to check in early which really helped us make the most of the weekend! We definitely will come back!

4th of July @ Lake Hartwell

The location was in a great area close to Tugaloo to launch our boat. The house was perfect for our stay, it was well maintained, clean and well stocked. The dock was in great shape for docking our boat for our stay. We would 100% book again to stay next year.

Storms had done som damage, but owners called ahead of our stay to inform us. Most repair work had been completed. Excellent stay for fathers day and our sons birthday.

Lake Hartwell

We had a blast on our trip to hartwell. House was very cute and clean. Owners are wonderful! They even called to inform us of some work they had just completed on the house. The dock is perfect for swimming and fishing. Great neighborhood. Perfect place to take a family.

Quiet and comfortable!!

We truly enjoyed the peaceful get away. The house is nicely remodeled and on a dead end road which made it very quiet and enjoyable. We are looking forward to getting back!!

Wonderful weekend getaway

We had so much fun on our weekend stay here. The home is immaculately clean, smells wonderful & has the cutest décor! You can see the lake from the living room window - the walk down to the dock is easy & the dock itself is amazing! Definitely recommend!

Convenient to Tugaloo SP

Most of us camped at Tugaloo SP, and accessed the property via boat and car, which was nice. Property was great for the new moms and babies.

Great boat dock!

Stayed here for a short weekend getaway with our dog. Darrin and Renee were very gracious and responsive to questions. Place is as pictured and had everything we needed. The house is located in a quiet part of the lake, so we enjoyed hanging out on the dock and kayaking in peace without having to deal with a lot of boats. Will stay here again!

Fun Times

Our family enjoyed the forest surrounding the house and time on the dock swimming and playing on our kayak and paddle board. The house is updated with a nicely stocked kitchen. We had a relaxing stay.

Fishing on the Lake

First time visiting Lake Hartwell. This property was just what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and comfortable and located in a quiet cove. The hosts were great and very responsive with the few questions that we had. We look forward to another visit in the future!

Work Buds

Easy process, house was everything we needed. Enjoyed the clean dock and the deep water for swimming. The house seems larger that the footage listed. Master bath was great. Lots of towels.
