Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fabulous vacation. Location was stunning, even better than advertised. Bedrooms were odd. House is basically a majestic one bedroom house, with huge upstairs master and lots of lounging and dining downstairs. 3 additional rooms are tiny motel-style add-ons, accessed from the front courtyard.

The property is as described - beautiful ocean view - especially from kitchen and sun room. The Koa Wood used in the house is beautiful. Kitchen was easy to use and had everything needed to cook and serve meals. Everyone enjoyed the pool. The pull out sofa did not have bedding on it. We requested sheets several times, but none arrived.My son clean all of the filters in the ac units in the house, because none of them were working properly. After cleaning the filters we had adequate air flow. (management please stay on top of maintenance). Our group of 9 had a wonderful week on the Big Island.

The views alone were incredible, but it was the small details that really set this place apart—labeled drawers and cabinets made it easy to find everything, and the abundance of nightlights was such a practical and appreciated touch.The home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The pantry was spacious and well-equipped with appliances, and there were plenty of extras for fun and relaxation—puzzles, games, pool toys, beach towels, and even snorkeling gear like masks, snorkels, fins, and boogie boards.It truly felt like a home away from home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful place for a large family!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We reserved this house for 14 days and it was the perfect place! My in laws stayed the entire trip we stayed for 9 days and my BIL/SIL stayed for a week. One perk of this property is the very private layout for multiple families coming and going. The description states their are multiple bedroom/bathrooms. But it doesn't clearly explain that this is set up like a bed a breakfast with one bedroom/bathroom upstairs in the main house with the kitchen and sitting areas. Then outside in the courtyard are 3 separate almost hotel rooms with their own access to the pool and private bath. We have 4 kids and ended up having them stay in one room and it worked great, but they are younger and with them having to go thru the outdoor courtyard to find an adult in the night did take some getting use to. For the view this house has an INCREDIBLE view! You are right on the ocean and can look down at the bay and the water is so clear you can see the fish swimming! We did the night snorkeling and was easily able to walk right to sea quest from the house which was awesome! Unfortunately we visited during the one week coral spawning that closes the largest and closest beach for our whole trip so the other beaches were terribly packed. It was super convenient to have the shopping center so near by! A full grocery store within 3 minutes. Overall this was an amazing place to stay and I would HIGHLY recommend!

Picture Perfect

This property was amazing. This large home was perfect for a large family traveling together. Everyone had there own bedroom & private bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. There are pool toys & plenty of things for the beach....umbrella, chairs, snorkel gear & beach towels. This home is in a great location. It's close to everything which is very convenient for getting groceries, gas & just shopping for fun.Kona Vacation Rentals is The Host & they are excellent with communication. They respond quickly to any questions you might have. There is nothing lacking in this home. And, wait until you see the view!

Place is well appointed we were able to have dinners inside and outside and it was an easy walk to marina and bay and short drive to a great beach park. Loved everything about the place. Air conditioning made it very comfortable and everyone having a private bathroom was a real plus. The view poolside can't be beat. Plenty of snorkeling gear to use. Lots of kitchen equipment for easy cooking. The housekeeper was amazingly helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Our family of seven had a comfortable stay. The four bedrooms were a great fit and gave everyone their own space and bathrooms. The sunset views from the pool area were beautiful and definitely a highlight.We visit Hawaii every year and aren’t overly picky, but there were a few areas that could be improved. Keyless entry would be much more convenient than keeping track of physical keys for both the main house and the exterior-access bedrooms. More beach chairs would also have been helpful for a larger group wanting to spend the day at the beach together.  The hot water never quite got hot enough, even after we requested that the temperature be adjusted. With the fully open shower in the master bathroom, hotter water would have made a big difference. The BBQ grill was also very dirty and clogged, which caused uneven heating. The hosts did offer to come address it, but we chose not to interrupt our stay and hope it’s resolved for future guests.Overall, the home is spacious and works well for a large family, but it could benefit from some general TLC.
