Cozy Four-Season Retreat on Farren Lake

In winter, savor the quiet solitude of snowshoeing through the woods. Our cozy guesthouse, just over an hour from Ottawa & three hours from Toronto, is the perfect year-round retreat in the stunning Rideau Lakes area.

In summer, explore the islands & crystal-clear waters of Farren Lake with one of our canoes. In fall, take in the vibrant foliage. End your day relaxing by a cozy campfire.

The recently renovated guesthouse features two bedrooms, a 4-piece bath, and all the comforts of home.

Our 20-acre property features two dwellings. We reside full-time in the main house across the road from the smaller guesthouse. This allows us to be readily available onsite during your stay to assist with any questions or concerns.

The guesthouse is located on a secluded bay, away from boat traffic on this small and private lake. Guests can canoe or kayak to various smaller islands on the lake, which are perfect for swimming or jumping off the rocks into the water.

Our guests will have full use of the guesthouse and our property surrounding it.

- South facing deck, with an amazing view of the water

- Fresh herbs from the garden (chives, mint, dill, etc)
- Parking for up to 4 vehicles and trailers

We will be available to our guests should they need our assistance. Please note that we reside all year round in a separate dwelling across from the guesthouse making us available on site to assist with any questions or issues.
