Easy walk to the beach and to the oyster farm. Had a great time using a rental golf cart to explore around town. Hosts were responsive and had a thorough welcome guide.
This beautiful property was the perfect setting to get together and catch up with good friends. Large, well appointed kitchen, plenty of room to visit, inside and out. The rooms were comfortable and provided a great nights sleep.
We got together in Cape Charles for a wedding at my sister ’s house nearby. The hosts were incredibly nice to work with and have a beautiful and spacious house located in a great location in Cape Charles. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon!
The house was fantastic! Very clean, well stocked, nice decor. Very close to town, 5 minutes by golf cart. Private beach was super nice. We had a wonderful time and it was perfect for our family.
Sea Blues cottage and the town of Cape Charles were absolutely charming. The house was as beautiful as the pictures described - a tasteful and relaxing beach!/bay theme. The house fit our family of 8 perfectly. Owners were very easy to work with and resolved a minor issue immediately. We highly recommend Sea Blues and Cape Charles!
This is a great house for friends and family to share. We really appreciated having 3 full bathrooms and a screened in porch to enjoy summer evenings. It’s a short golf cart ride to town and a block away from gorgeous nightly sunsets. The kitchen is big enough for a crowd to cook and well equipped. We’ll definitely be back!
Our third year in Cape Charles, second year in a Bay Creek property. This house was wonderful compared to similar house last year. Amenities were great, many nice touches. Would definitely return. Many thanks to our hosts!
We had a wonderful time in this well maintained peaceful home. It was 3 families, 4 adults and 3 children (ages 6, 6, & 8) and we had more than enough room. This home is close enough to the private beach to walk but honestly we prefer the larger public beach. It's a short golf cart ride to anything in town as well! It was wonderful having access to the community pool too! We had a day after a storm that stirred up bacteria in the Bay and there was a swim advisory so we enjoyed the pool! The home truly had everything we needed and we look forward to staying here again!
Family (4 adults) one child had a seasonally chilly but delightful experience at beautiful Seablues! Exceptionally clean and well-equipped, charming high end decor, great location - easy walk to beach! Clear prompt contact with hosts. Love Cape Charles all year round! Highly recommend!
We have stayed in Cape Charles several times but never in the Bay Creek neighborhood until now, and we loved it! The house was perfect, from the screened-in porch to the soaking tub to the quick walk/golf-cart ride to the private beach access. The house is just beautiful and so spacious. The bedrooms were all cozy and comfortable. The private beach for Bay Creek residents and renters was never busy and we often felt like we had it practically all to ourselves, during a busy week in August! We had to reach out to the owners one time with a question and they were very responsive, kind and helpful. We'll hopefully be back!
My family of 4 had a great time in Cape Charles and this was a perfect home base for the week. The home was as described and depicted in the photos. Neighborhood was very peaceful and friendly.
It was quite warm and humid during our stay, and the AC in the house was more than up to the task keeping it very cool and comfortable. A trip to the main street in town took just a few minutes on the rented golf cart.
The house was well equipped with various cookware and dishes and there was plenty of room to spread out. The private beach is small, but very convenient. We split time between that and the main beach in town.
We would stay again without hesitation
We really enjoyed our stay, it was like a home away from home. Two families of 4 slept and played comfortably. Every accommodation you can thunk of, steps from the beach, near Great food. Only issue the AC is broken or disabled. Only hot air blows out, the property managers tried to make it seem reasonable but it is not, I shouldn't have to work this hard to be cool. They gotta fix their system especially as the summer nears. We turned off the entire system and just opened all the windows.

We are so sorry to hear you had trouble with our HVAC! Our Nest history shows that the thermostat was set to heat and ran for several hours a day which is why it was blowing warm air. The HVAC system will only blow cold air when set to cool. We are glad you enjoyed everything else our house and the ESVA has to offer and hope you’ll come back to visit!
We travel every fall to enjoy oysters and a new place with two other couples. The house was perfectly located to enjoy the town of Cape Charles and had every convenience we needed. The house is in perfect condition in a lovely neighborhood. The only downside is that there are only 2 bedrooms with beds truly comfortable for couples but we knew in advance once couple would be in a bunk room but the upside is that every couple got their own bathroom. Bring bug spray as mosquito bites are inevitable. We preferred the public beach in Cape Charles over the private neighborhood beach. We all absolutely loved getting around everywhere by golf cart. Remember to bring extra toilet paper and bottled water if you prefer it but the water in the house is drinkable even though there is a large jug water system in the kitchen.
We loved our stay in Cape Charles and this home was awesome! Very well equipped and clean. Had everything we needed and more! Thanks Catherine and Chris for sharing your wonderful home!
Loved the location. House has everything you will need to prepare meals. Kitchen great! Plenty of dishes, pans, utensils! Owners great with communication. Would highly recommend this place if you entourage go to Cape Charles.
This house is beautifully decorated, well-appointed and well-organized. The kitchen equipment is the best I've ever seen in a vacation rental. We all had a great time.
We enjoyed everything about our stay. The owners were great at being available if needed. The house was clean, organized and very comfortable. The screened in porch was a great hangout area. The house had everything we needed and then some. Close access to the private beach and it was nice having pool access. Definitely would stay again!
We loved the home. It was clean, comfortable, great location, and had everything we needed. The hosts were easily accessible and went above and beyond. Great experience!
The house is pretty and the layout was great. We enjoyed the house and had a great stay. There was plenty of room for the bride and bride's maids to get ready and we had room for small family gatherings after rehearsal and the reception. Downside was the amount asked for us to do for clean up and mosquitoes are terrible. That should be on the page to bring spray etc. The house is beautiful, beds are comfortable, kitchen is nice, several different gathering spaces for connecting in a smaller group or solo time. It's a beautiful area and community. I wish we had more time to ride bikes.

Water pressure is weak but i guess typical for some coastal communities. We never ran out of hot water!!! The light in the island is too low which makes it hard to work around and the bulb needs replacement. Possible a preference but everyone said the same thing when they say it. For the older fokes, they wanted an elevator like houses in Santa Rosa Beach, fl. They managed but difficult. They did not stay at the house. That would have been too hard.
The house was exactly as advertised. It certainly was fully equipped for anything that we needed. It is furnished very nicely and slept 8 very comfortably. We would definitely recommend this to anyone for a great stay in Cape Charles.
This was our opportunity for a family reunion that had been delayed due to the pandemic. The cousins really had a wonderful time together. There was plenty of gathering space and more “alone space”. The kitchen (the hub) was terrific!
The beach is close by and the wonderful historic town is walkable or an easy cart ride. The play ground in Central Park was appreciated by the kids, 2, 6, 6, and 9.
Loved our stay in Cape Charles . The house and neighborhood are beautiful! A cute town with an old time feel. We will definitely be back!

We fell in love with the town of Cape Charles in Spring of 2018 and decided to make it our home away from home in 2020. Cape Charles has so much to offer and we hope you enjoy exploring it just as much as we do; whether it be the beautiful beaches, vibrant shops and restaurants, fishing, or kayaking there's sure to be something for the whole family!
Some of our favorites include the private Marina Village beach (only a block away!), the Cape Charles Distillery, Deadrise Pies, and the town fishing pier.
