Unique luxury cottage in the heart of Marlborough's wine region central location

Laurella Cottage, a 1860's colonial cottage is a fully self contained accommodation and has been meticulously restored and decorated by your hosts Dave and Sue. With a definite botanical theme running throughout the cottage, fitting for its garden setting, every detail has been thought of, to make your stay in Blenheim, Marlborough as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. The kitchen and bathroom joinery, along with the furniture have been designed and made by us on site, with the same passion and attention we’d decorate our own home.

A separate bedroom with a queen sized bed with garden views awaits guests. The large bathroom has a claw foot bath to relax in and a separate rain head shower with toiletries supplied along with towels.
The kitchen has a full oven plus a gas top cooker, microwave, nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge plus all you will need for cooking.

With Marlborough as the sunshine capital of NZ, we have made sure there are many secluded places around the cottage and garden for you to relax and enjoy a glass of local Marlborough wine. Your accommodation has its own private courtyard with an outdoor table setting for alfresco dining, along with the all important bbq where you might enjoy a fillet or two of our world renown Marlborough Salmon.

As the garden is a important part of the cottage we have ensured that garden views are available from every room. A tranquil spot where you can hear bird song and see the white fantail pigeons from the veranda.

We are not more than 10 minutes away from wineries, supermarkets, cafes, the Omaka Aviation Centre and other local attractions. A 5minute walk will take you to the nearest restaurant and wine tasting among the vines, a perfect place for lunch.
