We had a good time overall- it’s a house by the beach and most things worked. Must say the hot tub was very dirty- not sure what kind of fungus had grown in there but the water looked like egg flower soup, smelled musty, and had obviously not been changed for a very long time. The house instruction book said there was bikes available in the garage, and there was also a ping pong table which would have been nice to use during the rain, but they informed us that was not included with the property. To be fair it did not list bikes or ping pong on the listing, so not much to gripe about there, but a little odd to block that part. The book also said they had spectrum TV, there is a TV in the house but no television subscription so wasn’t able to watch thanksgiving football. Saving the worst for last- we found it incredibly rude that someone showed up at 9:30 AM on our checkout day and started mowing the lawn, looking in the windows at us, just creepily hovering as we packed our car to leave at 10:00 am checkout time… very poor form and just weird. Dude was weird- didn’t say hi, not like “oh sorry about the mower just have a lot to do today”, just mowed and stared… took a break in the car and watched us load stuff. Did I mention it was weird? Weird.
