Well our f 1st impression was not good the couch had stains and house had musty smell. The one regular size cooking pan was fried couldn't even cook bacon! The grill was broken the living room TV was broken! Wet linens left to sour in washer, smeared dog poop in back yard! Location is good but overall this property needs maintenance and has lots of room for improvements!

We had a good time overall- it’s a house by the beach and most things worked. Must say the hot tub was very dirty- not sure what kind of fungus had grown in there but the water looked like egg flower soup, smelled musty, and had obviously not been changed for a very long time. The house instruction book said there was bikes available in the garage, and there was also a ping pong table which would have been nice to use during the rain, but they informed us that was not included with the property. To be fair it did not list bikes or ping pong on the listing, so not much to gripe about there, but a little odd to block that part. The book also said they had spectrum TV, there is a TV in the house but no television subscription so wasn’t able to watch thanksgiving football. Saving the worst for last- we found it incredibly rude that someone showed up at 9:30 AM on our checkout day and started mowing the lawn, looking in the windows at us, just creepily hovering as we packed our car to leave at 10:00 am checkout time… very poor form and just weird. Dude was weird- didn’t say hi, not like “oh sorry about the mower just have a lot to do today”, just mowed and stared… took a break in the car and watched us load stuff. Did I mention it was weird? Weird.

Our hot tub technician posted photos of his service just before your stay to our work order system, and the water is very clean. If it indeed turned so quickly before you went to use it, that's unacceptable and we'll definitely have them do an inspection on it to make sure all parts are in working order. Our notes do not indicate that you reached out about the hot tub during your stay, we would have loved the opportunity to fix it right away for you. We also apologize for the confusion about the bikes and ping-pong table; those items are not part of the rental and we’ll update the house book so future guests aren’t misled. Finally, we’ve spoken with the landscaping vendor and asked them to give our guests plenty of time and space on check out day before servicing this home. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention — your comments have been shared with our teams so we can improve future stays.
