1880s home with modern amenities in West Lahave
Explore the South Shore from this beautifully restored 1880’s farmhouse. Once central to the Nova Scotian Schooner trade, this property lies on an acre of rolling hills overlooking the historic LaHave River across the road. Sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee in the morning to take in the views, or have a picnic under the weeping willow tree. Get the BBQ fired up on the back deck in the evenings.
Inside there are three good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms, one on each floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with retro style appliances. The dining room can seat 6 people around the old bakers table. The snug (or living room) keeps cool in the summer and is a cozy spot in the colder months. Some modern amenities include: heat pump, washer & dryer, wireless internet, Roku TV.
The property is perfectly situated, only 10 minutes from nearest town of Bridgewater with all amenities and equidistance to the famous Lahave bakery. Nearest beaches include Rissers and Crescent.
