Escape to the peace and beauty of Wainui Valley Rural Retreat, just 10 minutes from stunning Ōhope Beach. Kiwi Cabin is our only cabin with its very own private outdoor spa bath the perfect place to soak under the stars, or watch both the sunrise and moonrise as they light up the valley.
Our adults-only retreat is designed for relaxation and connection, with sweeping rural views and plenty of space to unwind. Wake to birdsong, stroll through the gardens, or set off directly from our driveway onto some of the Bay of Plenty’s best cycle trails. After a day of adventure, head into Ōhope to enjoy its beautiful beach and excellent restaurants. For thrill-seekers, we also work with a local helicopter operator to arrange breathtaking flights over the coastline.
Each of our three cabins is separated by lush New Zealand native bush, ensuring complete privacy. Along the way you may meet our free-range chickens, a couple of friendly cows, or Bo our golden Labrador who loves to say hello.
If you’d like to mingle, our common room offers comfy chairs and classic games to share with other guests. And if you’re celebrating a special occasion, let us know — we’d be delighted to add an extra touch to make your stay even more memorable.
