The condo was on the 4th floor and we were booked from May 24 - May 27. The elevator was not working from May 26 - 27, and we were stuck on the 4th floor with kids without food, and our rental dollars for beach rental was a waste as we could not use the beach on May 26th and half the day on May 27. The hosts were extremely rude when we called to find out where the key fobs were, and report the broken elevator- we were told they can’t do anything other than report the concern to the condo association. Our party with kids had to carry 8 bags down the 4 flight of stairs when we checked out.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about the inconvenience and frustration caused by the elevator outage during your stay. We completely understand how difficult this situation must have been, especially while traveling with children and beach equipment. Unfortunately, the elevator is maintained by the condo association, and once the issue was reported, repairs were outside of our direct control. That said, we sincerely apologize that your experience with communication did not meet expectations. We always want our guests to feel supported and respected, and we regret that you left feeling otherwise. We also understand how disappointing it was to lose valuable vacation time and deal with the added challenge of carrying luggage down multiple flights of stairs at checkout. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience, as feedback like this helps us improve how we communicate and support guests during unexpected situations.
