Had a quiet getaway this week and it was everything I was looking for and more! The house is beautiful and well appointed with everything you would need. Exactly as described. Check in was very easy. My stay was extremely comfortable and I didn’t need anything else. Loved the fire on the deck at night and the massage chairs got plenty of use! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Perfect for Families

This lake view property was a perfect fit for our family gathering for Thanksgiving. The open design creates a space so everyone can have fun telling family stories. It was very well stocked for any foodie event. Everyone enjoyed football on the big screen TV and relaxing in the hot tub.

Such a wonderful home

All the comforts of home plus more. Beds were great, kitchen and bathrooms fully stocked, fun popcorn machine for big screen viewing, beautiful deck-this is a truly beautiful home and i can't recommend it enough.

Beautiful and spacious home!

We enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful home. We had plenty of room for us to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked. They had games in the basement which were an added bonus. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Lake House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Came here with a few friends and absolutely loved our time. The house was beautiful with stunning views, fully stocked with drinks, amazing sound systems and TVs, as well as games for the entire family. Cannot recommend enough.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

We loved this place so much! The house is breathtaking on the outside and the inside. We loved looking out at the lake through the spectacular windows while sitting in the massage chairs. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with all of the necessities and there were extra cozy blankets, robes, and towels. The hot tub was incredible and it was so special to soak while gazing at the winter landscape. We watched movies on the big screens at night (we loved the popcorn machine!) and the beds were very comfortable. The location is ideal and nearby many downhill skiing, cross country skiing, and hiking locations. Overall the experience at this house exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful NYE getaway
..

We are 3 adult couples from MA, NY and ME who summer vacation together and chose the Lake Ashmere home for our winter getaway and it was perfect!The first thing we noticed upon entering the home, besides the spectacular lake view, was it was pristine clean!!We loved hanging out in the living room, cooking in the kitchen and chilling in the hot tub. We all took our turns in the living room massage chairs and cooking on the grill and blackstone was sooper convenient.New Years day was perfect as we all hung out watching college football downstairs on the 86" flatscreen tv and again we chilled outside in the hot tub while it lightly snowed...how cool!The beds were comfortable and the upstairs loft is wonderful. They do state it is a king bed but it is actually 2 twin mattresses, no biggie we still slept like babies LOLThe bathrooms all had toiletries and they even provided bathrobes that were perfect for throwing on when getting out of the hot tub! They provide towels for both bathing and hot tubbing so no need to bring your own.The laundry room is a HUGE plus as well.Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day getaway and would highly recommend Lake Ashmere.....TY for opening your home!

A 5 Star Experience

We rented Autumn Hill Lake House to celebrate the 60th birthdays of 3 members of our group of 5 family members and close friends. The house was a perfect venue for us to spend a long weekend eating good food, playing games, reminiscing, and laughing. The house is beautiful with every amenity, spotlessly clean, and the most well-appointed rental I have ever encountered. Communications with the owner and the local host were efficient and seamless. We did not make use of the hot tub due to the weather (rainy and stormy all weekend) but the big screen TV with sound bar in the basement, the large selection of board games, the popcorn machine, and the cozy screened porch were big hits. The beds were very comfortable. It was pretty hot and humid during our stay. Although the ceiling fans and floor fan were helpful, it was a bit uncomfortable at times, although the basement was wonderfully cool. A/C or a whole house fan would be a welcome addition. That was really the only negative and it was a relatively minor one at that and was far outweighed by all of the positives. Would very highly recommend and would definitely consider returning. Wonderful home and a memorable weekend. Thank you.
