The Space:
Plaza 241 is a renovated 2BR / 2BA condo on the upper level of Plaza at Woodcreek — one of the closest residential buildings to the Crested Butte base area. The open living / kitchen / dining opens onto a private balcony with mountain views.
➔ Bedrooms (Sleeps 6)
- Bedroom 1: King bed + full bath
- Bedroom 2: Queen bed + second full bath
- Living room: Queen sofa bed (pulls out for 2 — best for kids or a 5th/6th adult)
➔ Kitchen
Renovated and fully stocked for six — full-size fridge, range, dishwasher, coffee setup, cookware, basic spices.
➔ Living Room
Open layout with a TV, fireplace, and high-speed WiFi throughout, opening to the private balcony.
➔ Building Amenities (Plaza at Woodcreek)
- Indoor + outdoor hot tubs — open 365
- Sauna / steam room
- Pickleball + tennis courts
- Communal BBQ grills
- Restaurant + bar in the building (peak season)
➔ Pros
- 3-minute walk to the base lifts — carry your boots, don't drive
- Indoor + outdoor hot tubs are open every day of the year
- Covered parking for 2, so snow on the car is never an issue
➔ Cons
- The Queen sofa bed is the 5th/6th sleeping spot — best for kids or an occasional adult
- Heat is set at the unit and runs warm — no in-room thermostat dial, so cracking a window cools the bedrooms on warm nights
Guest Access:
The entire condo is yours. Self check-in via keypad — full instructions arrive in our digital guidebook before your stay.
Two reserved covered parking spaces come with the unit — no scraping snow off the car, no hunting for a spot on storm days.
Indoor and outdoor hot tub keys are inside the unit when you arrive. Sauna, steam room, pickleball, and tennis courts are shared building amenities open to all guests.
The Neighborhood:
Plaza 241 sits in the heart of Mt. Crested Butte's base village — the resort side of Crested Butte, where the lifts, ski school, and après-ski bars are all a short walk away. The Crested Butte Mountain Resort base is a 3-minute walk; the Red Lady Express and Silver Queen lifts are about 5 minutes on foot, and the West Wall Lift roughly 7. Base-village dining and coffee — Butte 66, and Coffee Lab — are all under 10 minutes away.
The free Mountain Express shuttle runs all day, connecting the base village to the historic town of Crested Butte in about 6 minutes, where Victorian Elk Avenue is lined with restaurants, bars, and galleries. The Crested Butte Nordic Center is a 10-minute drive for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. In summer, the same base is a launch point for hiking, mountain biking, and the wildflower trails Crested Butte is known for.
Getting Around:
You can leave the car parked most of the trip. The free Mountain Express shuttle runs all day, every day between the base village and the town of Crested Butte (about 6 minutes) — most guests ski from the condo and shuttle into town for dinner.
Driving in: Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is about 42 minutes away; Denver is roughly a 4.5-hour drive. Two reserved covered parking spaces come with the unit.
Other Things to Note:
License # 303614
You're staying in a private condo in a residential building, not a hotel — quiet hours and HOA rules apply (no loud music late, no overflow parking). There's no 24/7 on-site staff, but we respond to messages within an hour during the day. Our office is located in the lobby area of the Plaza. Feel free to stop by and say hello!
NO A/C: cracking a window cools the bedrooms nicely on warm nights.
Altitude: Mt. Crested Butte sits at 9,375 ft. First-day headaches or trouble sleeping are normal at elevation — drink extra water and take it easy on Day 1.
Hot tub keys are in the unit. Two covered parking spaces are reserved per reservation.
Interaction with Guests:
You'll have the place to yourself with self check-in, but we're a message away the whole stay. We typically reply within an hour during the day. Before you arrive you'll get a digital guidebook with door codes, parking, hot tub keys, and our local recommendations — and if anything isn't right during your stay, tell us early so we can make it right.
