This listing should not even be on Vrbo, as Vrbo promises a location without any guests/hosts. First, the description of the property lied and said there was a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, there wasn't. Second, someone was living on the property and in fact woke us up after a late night wedding in order for the person to get their car out of the garage. Thirdly, there is another company called "Evolve" that is involved, which further complicates check in and trying to get help. It is all supposed to go through the Vrbo app, but they want you to go through their app and circumnavigate the Vrbo app. The lay out is not conducive for any real way to relax and watch TV when you are at the property. As this was Valentine's Day weekend, we could not re-book any other place. Making my mother 76 year old mother with health issues go up and down those stairs was cruel.

It also specifies that there is a long-term tenant in a separate back studio with its own entrance and that the driveway is shared, and they may be present during stays. Well, if we had known that the basement was rented when we were there, it is highly unlikely that we would have rented this house. Overall it was OK - several issues - steps going upstairs were not up to code and were only 18 inches from the front door; the filter for the fridge water needed changing, so we had to buy water. The backyard was unusable. There were little ants in the kitchen although we kept all food tightly sealed and all services clean. The plug in incense in the main room w/TV gave 2 guests headaches and sneezing/runny noses. The master bath vanity had the cabinets put on backwards, so there wasn't much storage. We had only a password for the internet, with no named name, so it took a day to figure it out. Overall, not worth the $$ especially with creepy person staying in the garage. We were asked to share driveway with that person, however the driveway is not big enough for 2 SUVs. Overall, disappointment!

These features are part of the home’s original design and contribute to its unique character. - We want to clarify that no one lives in the garage. We use that space as a laundry and storage area that supports the guesthouse and other apartments on the property, as outlined in the listing details. - WiFi information is provided on the router and refrigerator for easy access, and we’re reviewing the refrigerator water dispenser to ensure everything is functioning properly for future guests. - Because the home is located in a warm climate, ants can occasionally appear, but we will continue working closely with our cleaning team to address any pest concerns and keep the home comfortable for guests.
