I chose Montréal because of its vibrant culture, rich history, and strong sense of community. The scene is dynamic and full of character. Historic stone buildings, colorful row houses, and lively streets set the backdrop, while cafés, bakeries, and local shops bring people together. You’ll see cyclists, families, artists, and students sharing the streets, often gathering on patios in warmer months or enjoying the city’s cozy indoor spaces during winter. Parks like Mount Royal provide a natural escape right in the heart of the city, offering incredible views and a strong connection to nature.

What I enjoy most about Montréal is the balance between culture and everyday livability. There’s always something happening music, food, art, or community events yet the city still feels approachable and neighbourhood-focused. The blend of French and English influences, the walkability, and the strong local pride create a welcoming environment that feels both inspiring and comfortable to call home.

The house is set near the water, offering a calm and refreshing atmosphere that immediately feels peaceful.
