The Space:

Waterfall Valley by Tiny Away sits in the peaceful wilderness of Gowang, with Binnaway just 35 minutes away and Newcastle or Sydney a scenic 4–5 hour drive. This tiny house rests by a running creek, surrounded by calm country views—yet still close to plenty to explore, from family parks and Crystal Kingdom to Siding Spring Observatory, Warrumbungle National Park, Pilliga Pottery, and seasonal favourites like the Bunny Bazaar and the Coonabarabran Show.



A pet-friendly farm stay, it’s the kind of place where you can unwind, explore, and let the landscape set the pace. The 139-square-foot tiny home includes water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking gear, and a private bathroom with a gas-heated shower, hand basin, and eco-friendly cassette toilet.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny home but must avoid all working areas, including workshops, equipment zones, sheds, and livestock yards. Security cameras monitor these restricted zones.



The Neighborhood:

Waterfall Valley by Tiny Away is located in Gowang, with plenty to explore nearby—from family spots like Kids Nielsen Park and David Bell Park, to sightseeing gems such as Crystal Kingdom on Chappell Avenue, the iconic Siding Spring Observatory, the stunning Warrumbungle National Park with walks to the Breadknife and Grand High Tops, and the creative charm of Pilliga Pottery.



You can also soak up local culture at Coonabarabran’s Bunny Bazaar each Easter and the Coonabarabran Show every autumn.

Getting Around:

By car:

- From Waterfall Valley Tiny Away home its 8hrs from Brisbane, 6hrs from Sydney, 1hr North of Dubbo and 30 min South of Coonabarabran NSW.

- It's reachable by 2WD AND 4WD.



By public transport:

- No public transport is avaliable



Other Things to Note:

- Firewood is provided for free

- Child-friendly accommodation

- No smoking allowed

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Telstra has strong mobile reception, while others have weak coverage

- Gas BBQs and charcoal grills are allowed only during permitted times.

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.

- Pets are only allowed to stay outside of the tiny house. There is a cage supplied outside of the house, all pets need to have up to date vaccination as part of the stay



Important note:

- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a fire ban period

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
