Every corner of The Keelendi House has been thoughtfully renovated and styled with care. Colour-drenched rooms, curated artwork and warm, inviting interiors create a home with personality, far removed from the feel of a typical holiday rental.

Three bedrooms with really good beds; we were fussy about the mattresses and linen. The fourth sleeping spot is the room behind the French doors, with a Koala sofa bed (a real bed in disguise) and the TV.

The heart of the home is outdoors.

Cook together in the fully equipped outdoor kitchen, gather around the dining table for long evenings under cover, then unwind in the private spa surrounded by lush greenery while enjoying a local Hunter Valley Shiraz as the sun sets behind the mountains.

When the weather cools, light the wood fireplace, curl up with a book or a glass of wine, and enjoy a home designed for slowing down.

This is a house that works for groups, couples' getaways, family gatherings, wine weekends. And unlike many vineyard stays, you're never far from life's essentials. Forgot the cheese for your grazing platter? Need another bottle of wine, fresh coffee or breakfast supplies? Supermarkets, cafés and restaurants are only a 2–3 minute drive away, not a 20-minute trip into town.
