We prefer to have a ONE DAY GAP between renters for airing the property. PLEASE take this into consideration when selecting your dates.

A Private Home furnished by a local interior designer in a sophisticated country style awaits you! Conveniently located one block from Main Street, walk to dining, shops and art galleries. The Point Reyes National Seashore, beaches and Point Reyes Lighthouse are only a short drive away.

Relax at Lavender House for a week and experience all the unique local specialties Point Reyes has to offer; Brickmaiden Breads, Bovine Bakery, Point Reyes Books, Cabaline General Store, Leona's, Vita, Culture Shop and of course Toby’s Feed Barn, host of the Saturday Farmer’s Market (seasonal).

Beautifully decorated and peaceful; everything was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could want or need for cooking or serving. The location was a 5 minute drive to the National Seashore hiking trails and 5 minute walk to downtown Point Reyes. Very clean and quiet. Great selection of books and movies.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lavender House - a real gem. The cottage is very comfortable and clean. The owner has an eye for detail and quality. The backyard garden is perfect for al fresco dining . The host is very responsive and accomodating.

The Lavender House cottage was an absolutely perfect retreat – we could not have asked for anything more. The house was well appointed in every detail, the hosts attentive yet respectful of space, the gardens and yard a delight. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

The house was spotless and comfortable. Downtown is only two blocks away so you can walk to get anything you want. The whole property is fenced in and private with beautiful landscaping, like a little oasis. The hot tub is a nice treat in the evenings and early mornings, it was very relaxing. Staying here really added to my trip, it was absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be back.

Well-appointed, immaculate home with lovely furnishings, including fine books and DVDs. Beautiful gardens front and back. Lavendar Cottage is without a doubt the cleanest and best equipped holiday rental I've ever stayed in! Everything was absolutely pristine and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need for making delicious meals! The location is perfect, just a 3-minute walk into Pt. Reyes Station; and Eileen is a treasure trove of information and suggestions! The cottage itself is simply adorable, and the double living area would make it perfect for a family! If you're considering a vacation at Point Reyes, you will absolutely love staying at Lavendar Cottage!

A lovely spacious house ! Kitchen fully stocked for cooking meals. Outdoor area is large with a big table and chairs with a sitting area as well. Close to point Reyes hiking! The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely return! The owner was very responsive !!!! Thank u

We spent two nights at Lavender cottage and highly recommend this lovely cozy place. Everything has been designed for your comfort, from the fragrant garden when you enter to the roomy seating areas inside and out and plenty of towels and flip-flops for a trip to the hot tub.
