Great”camping” experience

Enjoyed our stay in this well equipped, clean and comfy chalet. Everything was great except for Dish cable/tv reception.

Great Cabin

The cabin was exactly as described. Well stocked kitchen, comfy bed with nice linens, lots of towels, our own hot tub and beautiful grounds! We hated to leave and hope to come back soon.

Quick getaway

We just wanted a nice cabin to get away for a few days. Creekside Chalets filled the bill perfectly. Maybe a little too close to the highway but we rarely heard traffic and it did make it convenient to getting into Salida. We loved our stay and staff were very friendly.

Nice Getaway!

Overall we were very pleased with our stay! The chalet was clean (the floors had a bit of debris, but there were a lot of fallen leaves outside) and comfortable. It was a beautiful, quiet spot. We travel full-time and generally work from wherever we are so our only complaint would be that there was no stable internet. We were unable to connect on our phones, iPads or computers and there is no cell service - so we ended up having to forgo work for the few days we were there. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect though, this is a wonderful spot!

Thank you so much for your lovely review and we are glad you had an enjoyable stay at the chalets. We apologize that the cell service is spotty as the signal in the mountains can be unreliable depending on your carrier. We do have boosters around the property but I am sorry that didn't help in your case. Glad you were comfortable and hopefully the unexpected time away allowed you to rejuvenate and enjoy moments together. The sun will be out all week and we are working on picking up all the leaves- the seasons changed quickly this year in Colorado! Hope to see you again, thanks!

Great property!

Our chalet was everything we needed for our family of 5. The kids loved the creek running nearby and the hot tub. You can hear traffic as the property is located right off of highway 50, but there is a tree line separating you so you don’t see all the cars and trucks coming down Monarch Pass. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We are so happy that your family enjoyed your time at the chalets together. We also love the sound of the creek and the stars are pretty incredible from the hot tub. I wish we were a little more offset from the road; however, it is really conveniently located to access town and all the wonderful recreation opportunities in the valley. We hope your family gets to spend more wonderful moments together at the chalets again soon!
