The location is amazing and the food at the restaurant downstairs is great. However, the carpet is terrible, the jacuzzi tub didn’t work and the couch was very dingy.

Always love the Carlyle . The unit itself needs a little updating and paint, but very comfortable . Best location ever . And the price is very reasonable .

Great location

Location of the place was great, although it was a bit rough around the edges. In particular, both toilets had ongoing issues, and some design issues (the shower door was fitted too snugly to the shower door frame) gave the space a cheap feel. Still, went with friends and it was more than suitable. I just wouldn’t recommend if you are expecting a premium experience.

Horrible/False Presentation/Old

Last start off by saying the location was great and so was the concierge. The place was horrible, dirty, nasty, old, broken everything. The pic and decor was misleading. The couch supposed to be white as pictured. But no!! I was so old I looked very nasty to the point where we laid towels and sheets just to sit down. Faucets backed up in both rooms. Furniture old and scratched up. My experience here in Miami at this VRBO was just horrible. I did reach out to the manager who asked to send pictures and we did. No one ever contacted us until we checked out just to write a review. We couldn’t leave due yo no refund and no more rooms available close to where we wanted to be. I really wanted at least a partial refund but to this day I haven’t heard back from anyone. I do not recommend this location at all ever!!! Our friends was next door and that location was just beautiful with beautiful balcony and front sitting area for half the price we paid. Pass on this location. Sorry!!!

The location was great on Ocean drive very convenient we loved it. The only thing that could of been better was the flooring it's horrible when u walk on it and needed to be cleaned. Having Tvs in the room would be nice as well.

Plumbing issue

Location was great and staff on site were exceptional. Had a toilet issue in one of the bathrooms that took hours to have a plumber show and fix. The problem improved but wasn’t complete fixed. Other than that the stay was great.

Not the best experience

The property was in a good location. The condo on the other hand was outdated. The pictures were obviously of another property on site. It wasn’t clean when we arrived, and not minor cleaning issues. We initially wanted to change rooms but was not able to do so. We had to call and complain about how unclean and unsanitary the room was so they could get someone to come clean. I didn’t like that one of the people that called to assist us said we were more than welcome to find somewhere to stay because cleaning wasn’t available right away. We’re in South Beach like where are we going to go last minute. The issue was resolved and we got to talk to someone who was understanding and helpful but given the headache we had to deal with instead of being able to get ready and get out to enjoy ourselves we were not compensated as much as I would have liked.

Not very clean, smelled of smoke, broken mirror, broken blinds, stove top took forever to cook anything, flooring dirty and hurt your feet (jute material). Location is great if you are going for the Ocean Drive scene.

Great location, marginal property

This place is in a great location. That is the best I can say. The “carpet” is like old rope made into “carpet”. It hurts to walk on it in bare feet. The beds are extremely hard. There is no onsite parking. You need to find your own in one of the nearby parking garages. Ocean Drive in front of the property is closed to give the restaurants more room for seating during COVID. That means you have no place to unload your luggage. We won’t return.

Fantastic in every way!

The list of pros are huge! Large 2bd/2bth, view of courtyard and ocean drive, clean, stocked with everything you may need (with the exception of scissors), decent beds, A++++ location!! Honestly, the only con was that the other people staying didn’t care for the texture of the floor. Very functional for the beach and all around GREAT space!

Good for the price

The listing was accurate and ended up being a nice place to stay for a long weekend. Noise is on the louder side, but less than what you’d expect on Ocean Drive. Only downside was that of the dining chairs was broken when we arrived.
