Perfect Weekend Getaway

Our family had the best time relaxing for the weekend here. We swam, cooked and enjoyed the sunsets on the balcony.

Great stay in a very comfortable house in the Pass. My husband has RA, so having comfortable beds and a tub are a must for him. Shanon was a great host and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Very Relaxing!

The house was absolutely wonderful. Had everything we needed and then some. Our family enjoyed the pool and the location was fantastic! Shannon was great at responding to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the place and the location. The neighborhood was great and near anything you may need or want to do. The house was cute and well equipped. It was really quite a nice and enjoyable place to stay. We would rent again!

Great Property

This property was perfect for all of our needs. There were lots of things to keep the kids busy with the pool, games, etc. I loved all of the extra touches that made our trip special. Perfect family getaway and close to everything.

Great week!

The house was clean and cozy. Lots of amenities and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor areas. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. Beautiful sunsets over the inlet across the street! Very enjoyable stay!

Nice Older House

Overall the place was great & we had a fantastic time! The heated pool was a huge plus in March. The grounds could use a little tidying up outside but the inside was clean and set up nicely! Would definitely stay again...

No complaints! Very nice place it was exactly what we thought it was going to be from the pictures. Side note: I noticed in the upstairs bathroom, behind the door on the wall it looks like mold/mildew starting to build up. Did not bother us, just wanted to make you aware of this if you didn’t know.

Perfect Getaway!

My family and I had the best time at The Petite Retreat! Shannon had every amenity you could hope for, for hours of unplugged family fun: extra toys for the pool, tons of board games, pool table, dart board, and more! The property was well-maintained and clean. There is even a functioning lift that makes loading and unloading easy! Really hope we can stay here again!

Perfect vacation spot

We loved the house. It was stocked with everything we needed for our stay in the Gulf Coast. My daughter enjoyed the “ hidden room” and we loved making popcorn one evening. The outdoor space was great and luckily the pool is heated since it was chilly during our stay. We wish we had planned for extra time there!--

Peaceful Paradise

My family and I absolutely adored our stay at the Petite Retreat! It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was very well stocked. The owner is a delight, and I appreciated the ease of communication with her. Our favorite part of our stay here was the heated pool. We swam everyday and appreciated all the floats and pool toys that were available for use. We loved it so much that it was hard to leave! I couldn’t recommend staying here enough, and we would love to stay here again.

As advertised

The property and amenities were truly as advertised. Everything is orderly and not a 'hair out of place. The elevator is a blessing for sure!! Shannon was easy to communicate with. We enjoyed some truly 'quiet time'.

A wonderful destination property!

This is our 2nd stay at this property in the Pass. We were able to have a great vacation without leaving the house. We brought our groceries and prepared meals. There are grills on site for steaks and burgers too. The pool was crystal clear and very relaxing. There is is ping pong, pool, and board games to keep you occupied. The library holds some great reading material as well. The property is well kept. Shannon is extremely organized and goes above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It's a very quiet neighborhood and privacy wasn't an issue at all. 5+ stars!!!

A home away from home

Our family loved our stay at this property. Everything you need is on site, as if you were at your own home. There are numerous amenities available inside and outside the home to keep everyone entertained, but especially for kids and teens. Every detail has been thought of, so all you need to bring is food and you! Shannon (the owner) is exceptionally prompt at replying to inquiries, and in our case, arranging for a speedy repair of the water heater when it stopped working mid-stay. It was taken care of immediately and it barely inconvenienced us. The location of this property is quiet and private, and is the perfect space to getaway from it all.

Great location for beach or NOLA visit!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Plenty of fun for the kids with games for rainy days, and pool with plenty of floats. Minutes from the beach! Kitchen is stocked with cooking pots and pans and necessities like oil and sugar. The lift was great for getting luggage up the stairs! Kids enjoyed ping pong table! Things that need updated: ice machine in bar area does not work. Also on the frig it gets stuck frequently and was slightly irritating when it would jam and I’ve would spill everywhere. Bed in upstairs loft needs new mattress as it sits lopsided. Mattress in master bedroom could use changed as well, but we all slept comfortably enough. Had a great vacation! Thank you for providing a great home!

Awesome Property!!

Shannon has thought of everything for this house! We traveled with our 8 year old daughter and we were never bored. The pool was lovely and heated, the beach is close and there are games and a wonderfully stocked kitchen. We can’t wait to return next year!

Home Away From Home

The design of the home is impeccable. I brought my own necessities but this home came with all the daily necessities. There’s not one flaw about this home. It’s great for a family/couples getaway. This home is made for relaxing and entertaining. The area is nice and minutes away from local businesses. I can’t wait to return and/or refer some of my clients to this beautiful home.
