The perfect year-round family destination!

Camp Outlook is a charming, large home which is situated in the heart of Old Forge with overlook views in all directions.  This wonderful historic home, has been meticulously maintained and offers all the comforts of home.
Walk or bike into town to the public beach for swimming plus tennis, band concerts, or ice cream at the Pied Piper.  Watch the firework displays right from the front porch!  If you walk or bike toward the back onto North St. you can mountain bike the snowmobile trails or hit the Moose River for a relaxing paddle.  Location, location, location! Linens are not provided at this home.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guests must bring their own sheets and towels. Please also bring toilet paper and paper towels. Dish towels are provided.
All garbage and recycling must be taken from the house upon check out. There is a transfer station open most days in the summer.
The driveway entrance off North Street is shared please never block.

Really enjoyed my stay at the house on the hill. Perfect location. We got to see the fireworks right from the front porch. Great view of the lake. Would definitely stay there again just an FYI you do need to bring your own sheets. pillows were provided and blankets provided.

Family Long Weekend

This is a great place to stay in Old Forge with a family. We have stayed here before on summer long weekend visits and we love the central location to the water, the town and the hiking trails. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our trip to Old Forge. The location of this house is walking distance to everything. There was plenty of room for our big group to not feel crowded. We will definitely rent this house again!

Outlook terrace in Old Forge

Great location and home. Plenty of room for our party of 4. Close to shopping, dining and water park. Spent a lot of time on the front porch! Air was rather stale inside when we arrived but improved once we were able to open windows to air out. We enjoyed our stay!

Disappointed with VRBO Host

The house was very nice inside and out! I messaged the host twice the day before we were leaving to see about how to get in no response! The day we left I messaged her three times no response On how to get in the ! By now I’m panicking thinking somethings wrong! I called the number on VRBO and got a very nice lady And told her I hadn’t heard from my host and I don’t know how to get in the house and it was 4:15 Past check in time! So she gave me all the information I needed to get in and the password for Wi-Fi. Well, the password didn’t work so for future reservations people it’s on the refrigerator the Right password! It said coffee pot so I brought stuff. It’s not it’s a coffee pod.! I couldn’t get some of the TVs to work. I don’t think the remotes with them are the right ones so we had to watch whatever popped up on the TV for that day only one TV in the place that was upstairs in one bedroom.! We did not know who the service provider was so it would be nice if they had put what the provider was Spectrum Vizio, etc.! The location was great right next to the water Safari and the ice cream parlor across the street with the beach! But it’s not on the water

Perfect Location!!!

Our family had the pleasure of staying at this location over Columbus Day weekend in Old Forge. The house was spacious and had lots of room to spread out. It was nice to be able to take our dog with us as well. The fire pit was nice and the yard had a family of deer that visited daily. If you have a dog that barks at deer, just keep that in mind. I would definitely go back again as this is a very comfortable place to stay.

Perfect location

We enjoyed our four night stay. Great location to enjoy everything in Old Forge. Water Safari is a stone's throw away. Public beach is across the street and house has a lot room, privacy and great views of Lake and town. We loved it!

Great place in the heart of Old Forge

Stayed with the in-laws over Father's Day weekend. Great place, plenty of room, nice yard overlooking lake and town, right in the middle of all that Old Fore has to offer. Walk to restaurants, bars, amusement park, beach. Great doing business with these folks, highly recommend.

Excellent Location

This house was spotless, super clean. No AC and it can get pretty hot so be prepared for that. Excellent vacation for all the fun shops and water park. We would definitely stay here again.
