Great place

We love Alegranza. It's clean, safe. Has an unbelievable view and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. This unit was even better because daily maid service stopped by and tidied up. Perfect spot for thanksgiving!

Convenient flat in Cabo with a great host

Great experience

My family and I spent a week at Allegranza after Christmas and into the new year. We cannot say enough about the unit---it was beautiful, clean, well-equipped and quiet. Oh, and the view was amazing!! The staff was kind and helpful. We walked everywhere---the beach, the grocery store and into San Jose del Cabo many times. We particularly loved the huge deck where we read and played games and just watched the ocean and sky.

Great Stay

The property was great- the check in process was easy and everyone was very kind. The place was clean and lovely. Every room was well done. The only feedback- is that one of the beds- was very very hard- it almost felt like there was a board under it and was used as a model bed vs a real mattress. So we ended up sharing a bed as it was so uncomfortable. But overall- it was great!

Wonderful property and location!

We really enjoyed our visit to Alegranza and San Jose!! The morning sunrises on the terrace are breathtaking!! Neighborhood is quiet and safe and the property is beautiful!! I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!! Good for a couple to an entire family!!

We ❤️ Alegranza!

The property is actually more beautiful in person than it in in photos! The grounds are beyond beautiful and immaculate. The condo is lovely with a beautiful ocean view and while not on the beach as some photos appear, it’s within 10 minutes walk. One key fact is the beaches in this area are not so great for swimming as there is a hard current and dangerous shore break. If not a pro I don’t advise it unless you head to Palmilla area for a day trip. That said we never wanted for the beach with three lovely saltwater pools and 2 hot tubs at our disposal! The unit is appointed with new high end appliances and is stocked for cooking but with so many dining options on property and off within walking distance who wants to cook! The excellent Maid service daily was a nice surprise and the staff was friendly and wonderful. I can’t say enough good about Alegranza. We will definitely be back to San Jose del Cabo and to Alegranza!

Beautiful Property!

Long awaited getaway with my 4 friends. We were looking for a relaxing, well maintained, updated and safe accommodation for our getaway and Alegranza checked all of our boxes. During our stay we enjoyed a beautiful condo, well furnished, poolside service, in room spa services and most importantly friendly staff. We will definitely be back!!!

Beautiul condo and property, very friendly employees

The condo itself was beautifully furnished with high-end finishes and all the comforts of home--with some extras! Especially large master bedroom/bath, with waterfall shower head and lots of closet space. The gas grill on the balcony was perfect for our one dinner in- making fresh shrimp kebobs. It was also perfect for watching the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez. The staff welcomed us with salsa and chips and were very helpful throughout our stay. Grounds were impeccably kept, and featured three beautiful freshwater pools and two hot tubs--one super hot, and one slightly less hot but still hot and soothing. Restaurant on premises is excellent, and beach, San Jose and grocery shopping all close by. Wi-fi and television reception were perfect--no problems at all. I felt lucky to have found this place, and some of the pictures don't do it justice. Tennis court has been redone from the photos I saw, and work-out room is nice and well equipped. It was nicer than we imagined--always a good thing. We also felt very safe--Alegranza is at the top of the hill in San Jose, there is a gate and person there 24/7. There is an office and someone to help with activities, directions or questions. Alegranza consists of buildings A-F, I think 5 stories tall, to give an idea as to size. Before we left, I was not sure whether Alegranza was just a condo complex, or a resort. I now would say it provides the luxury and roominess of a condo, with all the amenities we want from a resort. We were there as a family and loved it.

Fantastic Stay

I spent a week at the Alegranza while I was participating in a yoga workshop. The unit was wonderful. Clean, nicely furnished, with a fully working kitchen and a large patio. I felt like I was at home the entire time. The pools are wonderful; clean, clear and refreshing after lying in the sun. Its within walking distance to beach and groceries, so its easy to pick up food to prepare in the kitchen. I would definitely return and recommend the Alegranza!

Fabulous Allegranza Ocean Views!

Just completed our second stay in the Allegranza complex. Our unit this year was a 3 bedroom penthouse unit - highly recommended! Large unit with nice furnishings, very clean and has fabulous ocean views. Staff are very friendly, helpful and responsive, that includes office and maintenance employees. We love the location, walk to old town or new town. Beautifully maintained grounds and tennis court. We found we used the main pool and jacuzzi rather than the unit's jacuzzi which took a couple hours to warm up. However loved having that top penthouse floor for the additional sun exposure and living area. We've already booked for next year!

Beautiful condo, best view in San Jose and a wonderful staff.

We stayed in a three bedroom condo for nine days. The condo was beautiful, the view was fabulous and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and meet our every need. The property manager Javier went out of his way to make sure we found the best restaurants and beaches. Everyone at this property was friendly and helpful in every way! We will definitely be back.

Excellent stay at Alegranza

We we're lucky to have spent 5 weeks at Alegranza last fall. Great accomodations, location and most of all attention and customer service provided by Lucy and Esther. The whole management team works hard to keep Alegranza in top shape. We enjoyed being close to everything, even though we had a car and I would highly recommend to rent one. At night we walked to restaurants, cafés, markets and even to the beach. Alegranza has a great, new fitness center, restaurant, nice swimming pools. It's a great accomodation and we have truly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful experience

This was our second stay at Alegranza and are planning to return again. Javier is very much hands on and ensures that your stay is first class and that all you needs are met and exceeded.This also goes for the front office staff who are most attentive to your needs be it sightseeing tours, local events like the farmers market, to the best eateries in the town.The facilities are exactly as shown on the website.The onsite facilities are very covenient having 2 restaurants if you don't feel like cooking, and the food is of a high quality We also took our small Poodle with us and the location with the park across the street was very handy to take her walking. We walked almost every where as it is only a 5 to 10 minute walk to downtown -very handy The Mega store is also only a short walk. Look no further for a first class experience.

Very happy customer.

My experience at Alegranza exceeded even my own high expectations, being a seasoned traveller. I was looking forward to my trip but I couldn't have imagined what a delight that it was. The service was incredible, literally everything at your fingertips, the penthouse apartment was stunning (exactly as it appears on the internet), the décor gorgeous and being in the design business, that was a real concern as it is with most rentals but the taste level was really beautiful, clean and very comfortable. I ate at all of the restaurants which were delicious and loved that you can order room service without feeling like you are in a hotel, I used the tennis court, all of the swimming pools and the gym - everything was maintained perfectly. I immediately booked my next trip before leaving. The staff couldn't be more knowledgeable, nice or more helpful. Outside the complex, check out the Art Walk in San Jose through the village on Thursday nights, and live music at Natalia's Wednesday nights then pizza at Dahlias. Jet skiing at the beach which is only a walk away. My friends are very envious of my trip and are returning with me. I would definitely and have already recommended Alegranza to friends and family and would like to eventually buy there. Also the location is amazing, you can walk to many places in town. And the views! One of the best months of my life. It was hard to leave.

We have spent 3 winters in Alegranza,, after spending 5 to 6 months a year in San Jose and Zihuatanejo since 1990. So we have had many months of Mexican hospitality,, both in Cabo and the mainland. We also spent 2 to 3 week holidays in Mexico from the East coast to the West over the last 40 years. We have driven our cars on most of the super highways and many of the original roads through the last 40 years. After all these experiances,, I enjoy and prefer our time in Alegarnza and San Jose to anyplace else in Mexico for a long term stay.. Alegranza is now our second home , and Mexico our adopted second country. We used to travel all over the South pacific,, South America, parts of Asia and Europe. And we have chosen Baja California, Mexico for our winters in a life style we enjoy.

We had a great time! The condo was very comfortable for two adults and 4 university aged students. We made extensive use of the pools and loved the easy walk to shopping and Shooters. We even met some great people who own at Alegranza and enjoyed some fun evenings with this group. The staff at Alegranza could not be more gracious! With one week still remaining on our holiday we were already making plans for our return.

Super location, amenties and ambience!

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Alegranza over for 10 days around the winter holidays in 2010. We had two groups, and there was availability to accommodate two units in the same building, which was nice. The finishes and quality of the units is top-notch, and decor and furnishings as well. Unit was like brand new. Location and views are awesome - probably the best in San Jose, unless you are seeking ocean-front (which this is not). Easy walking distance to beach and town, and many restaurants and services. On-site restaurant very nice to have, workout room is great and staff was ready to accommodate all of our needs and questions. We loved watching the sunset each night from one of the three hot tub areas throughout the complex. It was a lovely stay and we highly recommend it for any discerning travellers who enjoy higher end accommodations and service.

We just returned from 4...

We just returned from 4 fabulous weeks at this condo. It was amazing and so beautiful. The complex is great, the view spectacular and the unit is equipped with anything you could possibly need or want. Needless to say, we loved it and would return in a heartbeat!!!!! The staff at Alegranza are most helpful and friendly.
