An easy walk to the beach, pools, tennis, and The Marketplace (with its shops and restaurants), this second-floor condo offers great vacation accommodations just a stroll from all the action. Guests will appreciate the extensive renovations completed in 2023, including new TVs throughout the home, new flooring, new paint, and new living room furniture. The main floor features a living room, dining area, a well-equipped kitchen with a new dishwasher and fridge, a large private deck, a full bath, and two bedrooms with new additions for 2023 including a new king bed/mattress in the primary suite, and a new queen mattress in the second bedroom. The second floor, accessible by a spiral staircase, boasts a bedroom and a loft. Central air-conditioning, washer/dryer, five TVs, two DVDs, Blu-ray, HBO and Showtime, and free WiFi.

The pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, exercise facilities, etc. and, of course, the beach, were very relaxing and totally enjoyable.

Note: third bedroom is up a spiral staircase. We enjoyed the big tv, lots of streaming. Living room very comfortable. Beds very comfortable. We had no issues, and recommend.

Walking distance to the beach and restaurant and CVS store. Too much stuff in a vacation condo.

Loved the extra space and the property's location close to the beach. Outside amenities offered in Sea Colony are great. Dish washer needs to be replaced. Owner has too much household stuff, furniture and clutter lying around. Resort Quest who managed the property, was slow addressing my complaint with cable and DVD connection plus scalding hot water shower. Condo deck needed cleaning.

We did have some challenge in figuring out the problem with the DVD player and while we did respond the same day you called, we did have to send a different technician the next day that was better at dealing with electronics. He was able to figure out the issue so it was repaired the next day. We apologize for that delay. Surface clean but dirty

The condo is older and needs updating, It was surface clean but all of the air filters and fans were dirty. There were candy wrappers under the beds. Looks like no one has vacuumed under the beds in a while.

Disappointed

The property had stains throughout the second bedroom on the carpet and walls. Upstairs is quite hot. The worst was a roach was in our bathroom. We had to rent a second house as I feared they could come home with me. No reimbursement or apology. I will never stay here or use Vacasa again.

Avoid using vacasa book direct through sea colony

Lots of hidden fees. House wasn't as advertised. Everything was outdated from the 70s. The washer and dryer were so small you probably could only wash a few items at a time and it only takes powdered soap. Not very clean. No ac upstairs.

The house was clean and in a good location within Sea Colony. It is close to a pool, tennis and the shopping center/restaurants. The home has new living room furniture, and all the linens were provided, which was very nice. The house also had some things broken, which we reported. The main issue was the large overhead light and fan in the living room did not work (which I reported 3 times, with no response). The upstairs loft and bedroom got very hot, and that fan could have helped. The screen door was off the track, the hall toilet does not flush properly, half the outlets need repair/replacement, and the dishwasher was not properly attached to the cabinets so it leaned forward.

Sea Colony a ten, as always, in spite of 2105 Doubles Court

My wife has been going to Sea Colony for all 50 years of its history, I have joined her regularly for the past 20 years. We love Sea Colony and loved it again this year. But 2105 Doubles Court is desperately in need of some tender loving care. The mattress in the master bedroom is not even a mattress. The fridge and oven were left dirty ( we had to scrub the fridge as soon as we arrived.) the washer broke and we had to use a laundromat. There were several other little inconveniences that started to add up. As mentioned, we love Sea Colony and will be back. But not to this unit.

Dirty and Broken

We chose this property because it had more space then the last one we stayed in. It offered an extra bedroom. When we arrived, the fridge and freezer were dirty. The stove was filthy. The screen door to enter was broken, the shower curtain rod in the main bathroom was broken, and a shelf in the master bathroom was falling off. The rubber under the dishwasher wasn’t even connected, and the molding in between the kitchen and dining area was up. One of the chairs bolts just fell out, and had to be fixed. There were pans with crusted food on them in the cabinet. We’ve never had any issues with cleanliness in all the years we’ve come here. With all the money we pay to spend a week here, we at least expect basic cleanliness when we arrive. Part of our trip was spent cleaning up the mess that we arrived to. We love the area, and we love the community, and we are hoping next year is better in regards to the cleanliness and upkeep of the place we rent from.

Our stay

Liked the location, walk to beach, walk to restaurants, walk to tennis center. The unit itself was fine and clean. The A/C unit struggled to cool the upstairs floor and it leaked water the first couple days. However, the property mgt and unit owner did offer a small rebate to make up for the inconvenience which was fair.

Bethany Beach Condo

We enjoyed the condo, beach and pools. Condo was advertised to accommodate 10 people, but was small for 10 adults. We managed, but it was tight. More accurate description would be accommodations for 4 adults (2 couples) and 6 children. Minor issues were addressed promptly. Only discomfort was hot temperature in upstairs bedroom (size of a large closet), and the occasional cold shower (lack of hot water).

The house well clean and well kept. Pleanlty of dishes and silverwear.

They house had great space and very clean. However most of the other homeowners allowed people to use their beach things such as carts, beach umbrellas, toys. Etc..... other then that we had everything we needed.
