Gulf Front -Summer Place 106-Renovated Ground Floor- 3 Bedroom - Okaloosa Island

The gulf view says GORGEOUS and the ground floor says CONVENIENCE!!

Our newly renovated (12/2020) unit is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo located at Summer Place on the beach of Okaloosa Island in Ft. Walton Beach and less than 10 miles from Destin. This unit is located on the ground floor with its own pool access where you can watch the kids from your patio and walk directly out to the beach of the sugar white sands (less than 40 steps from boardwalk to water) to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico or the pool area with no stairs or elevator waiting. The condo offers 2 large pools (one heated in winter), fitness room, grilling area, and hot tub. This low density (53 unit) building is the perfect, family friendly getaway.

Master bedroom offers a king size bed with beautiful ocean views. Second bedroom offers 2 queen beds for your guest to enjoy. Third bedroom is great for the kiddos with a set of bunkbeds and a TV with a playstation and games.

Our unit features 9' ceilings, brand new granite counters in kitchen, New Walk in Shower, full size laundry, 4 LCD flat screen televisions, 1 DVD Player, new flooring and paint (11/2020), and updated bedding.

FREE beach service is included with your rental: 2 chairs and 1 umbrella available March 1 to October 31st.

Area attractions with in walking distance include the Gulfarium, Fishing Pier, restaurants, beach shops, and more. Families love our cozy and conveniently located beachfront, oceanside ground floor condo.

With gorgeous views of the Gulf, sand dunes, pools, and hot tub from the family room and the patio, the condo has it all. We hope you enjoying staying at our Summer Place and you that make many family memories here.

Family vacation

The property was very clean. I loved the decore! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for the week. The Owner was easy to communicate with. Great location on ground floor making easy access to pool and beach. One of my favorite things was the master shower. The water pressure was amazing! The master bed was a little firm but still slept well.

We’ve stayed several different condos over the years but this condo was top notch! From check in to check out, Jaretta was a text away! Very clean, comfortable and convenient. We will def be back!

Perfect family location

We had a fabulous stay. The check-in process was easy and the owner was responsive. I can not express enough how convenient the location is for small children. Quick access to the beach and pool made the trips easy for the parents and grandparents. We loved it!

Great Spring Break!

We've been coming to Okaloosa and this condo for years. The remodel is fabulous. First floor location is hard to beat with super convenient access to pool and beach. A great condo for a family vacation!

Perfect for our family.

Summer Place #106 Was the perfect choice for our family’s beach vacation.The condo is so comfortably and tastefully furnished and well stocked with essential items for cooking, etc. The white sand beach is only steps away. We loved being on the ground floor with easy access to the pools and beach walkway. The process was so easy and convenient. We hope to stay again in the future..

Amazing!

We had a wonderful stay! Jaretta's place was spotless, beautiful, no steps to climb, and right next to the pool and moments to the beach. The beds were so comfortable too. Check-in was a breeze. Communication with Jaretta was very impressive. Would definitely stay again. Recommend highly!!

Clean, convenient first floor rental

If you are looking for somewhere literally steps away from the beach, this rental is for you! Condo was clean. Beds were comfortable. Bunk room was a hit with the 5 year old. Kitchen was fully stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect!

The condo was perfect for our family of four! From booking to check in to check out, everything was so easy! Communication was great with Jaretta!! The location of the condo couldn’t have been more perfect. The whole condo was very clean and had so many extras to make the stay perfect! Highly recommend!! We will be back for sure!

The Best stay!

Not only was the owner of this condo super responsive on a situation that we needed her help on but also checked in on us day one to make sure everything was in order and thanked us on our last day as well. The condo has so many stocked items!! From a fully stocked kitchen, to include a crockpot, steam pot, to a blender! It was the little extras, like the boxed fans, the beach chairs, beach towels and cozy blankets that made it extra cozy and feel like home. I truly felt like I was staying at a friends home. I have stayed in vacation condos that was much more pricer with way less accommodations! I would 100%. recommend this condo and I will return!! Thanks for a great week Summer Place 102!! October rocked as a time to visit!

Vacation 2023

I can't say enough about how wonderful this vacation was. The condo was beautiful with great beds, a well stocked, up to date kitchen. Very family friendly. This first floor unit was perfect for us with 2 little ones that were able to walk out the door and jump in the heated pool. The beach was very close and the fact that the condo came with beach service of 2 chairs and umbrella was a bonus. Our beach service guy was a delight. There are plenty of options for food, drink and entertainment w/in walking distance. We had great and friendly service at these places as well. Groceries were just a short drive away. There was an issue with the washing machine that our owners were very prompt in taking care of and kept us informed as to the progress of it - this says a lot about them! We had 10 days of beautiful weather - an added bonus!

☀️ PERFECT location for families! ☀️

Fort Walton is our favorite beach to vacation yearly with the family!!! This was our first stay at Summer Place 106 and the location is perfect! - close to the beach, boardwalk, shopping and pool! They also had spices, card games and beach supplies. I appreciated this versus a sterile rental. It made the stay more home-like. :) The only negatives were that the Wi-Fi did not work well and only if you were in the living room. We were also charged for damage to the interior door lock trim which had signs of previous repair and we notified owner. The trim should be screwed into wall versus nailed because if the lock is not open fully it catches and pulls at trim. Hopeful this was repaired correctly after our stay so others don’t get charged. Overall a perfect place!

Unexpected issues

Cleanliness and a toilet left running that also had a broken valve which caused a leak on bathroom floor. Same bathroom also had a clogged tub which had sand and parts of bars of soap left in tub floor. We had cleaning lady and a plumber in there on our vacation time. If unit had been ck’d on a day or two before the toliet problem at the least would have been found before we did. Sandy floors, patio and rugs. Only fitted sheets on bunk beds and roaches and gnats. But GREAT weather, full sun everyday, Best ever.

Bring on the bottom floor and having easy access to pool and beach was amazing. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need as well!!! Owner was great, checked in and answered all my questions quickly!

Perfect 1st floor location

We had such an easy and nice experience in unit #106 for our family spring break. This unit is about as accessible and close as you can get. Don’t carry a lot to the beach or pool because it only takes a second to walk up and grab what you need or use the restroom. Despite being right at the pool, the unit was still very quiet inside. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and linens. This was our first time at Okaloosa. Our kids loved the Gulfarium and mini golf on Okaloosa down the street. We are at Stewby’s, Lulu’s and The Shack … all were really good casual family friendly spots.
