SEPARATE ENTRANCE

The AL GHARB apartment is located next to the Atlantic Ocean. The beach of Vale Centeanes is just a 3-minute stroll away.

The apartment has two bright bedrooms with double beds, both with direct access to the balcony with sea view. 2 bathrooms, living room with dining area and kitchen.
Enjoy your breakfast or the sunset in the evening with a good glass of wine on the terrace in front of the living room or on the balcony.

The living room with sea view has SAT-TV, free WLAN and air conditioning. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances such as a dishwasher, coffee machine and oven.
The terrace and balcony have sun loungers, a table, chairs and a barbecue.

In the immediate vicinity you will find a supermarket, restaurants, bars and a café.

Crib and high chair on request.
Air conditioning, pellet stove and electric heating are available.

The property is very suitable for long-term vacationers in winter.

ELECTRICITY AND AIR CONDITIONING ARE INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE FOR ALL BOOKINGS RECEIVED FROM 10.05.2025.

3 Month Winter Stay

Perfect place to spend the winter months. We had everything we needed for an extended stay. Great view of the ocean every day. Close to cliffs, beach, hiking trails, grocery stores, restaurants. Harald was an exceptional host - very responsive to any issues, good communicator, quick to act on our requests, easy to work with, and, as a bonus, provided free oranges and lemons most days from his orchard. We would highly recommend this accommodation in the beautiful Algarve!

Lovely apartment, great host but not 3 minutes walk to the beach though

The apartment is lovely, very clean and the hosts (brother and sister team) were very responsive to answer any queries or problems we had and came to help within a few minutes. It's advertised as being a 3 minute walk to the closest beach. It's not far but more like 7 minutes as it's a steep walk down/up a cliff via steps. An older person would definitely struggle (as did my mother), so we had to take the car which is only a 2 minute drive but then have to walk to the beach (again quite steep). Better to take the car and drive to Carvoeiro's beach 6 minutes away as easier to access. Would have been useful to have a microwave to heat food. Had to use saucepans which is longer and more washing up but wasn't a big deal. A little cheeky that you have to pay extra for the air conditioning. Overall, a great stay in an excellent apartment with 2 shower rooms which are very useful when there's 4 people. Would recommend them.

Hi David, thank you for the review. It is true that the flat is on the cliffs and there are stairs to the beach, which is about 30 m below, but there is also a footpath along the road to the beach. If you take the stairs it takes about 3 minutes, on the footpath about 6 minutes to the beach. A microwave is not mentioned in the advertisement. Since about 70% of the customers do not want to use the air conditioning, it would not be fair to include the price for it in the rental price. The advertisement states that the air conditioning costs extra and that the customer can decide on site whether he wants to use it. Kind regards, Harald

Schöne Wohnung am Meer

Die schöne Wohnung ist gross und bietet mit 2 Schlafzimmern genügend Platz für 4 Leute. Der Balkon ist bis zum Mittag im Schatten, mit Blick auf's Meer. Nur wenige Minuten sind es zum Strand und es lässt sich von da aus auf den Klippen wandern. Das Quartier ist ruhig. Unsere Nachbarn waren es leider nicht immer. Aber damit muss man leben. Ob man im Atlantik schwimmen konnte, hing vom Wellengang ab. Erkundigen! Harald war sehr freundlich und hat uns den einen und anderen guten Tipp geben können. Danke für diese schöne Ferienzeit.

We’re very satisfied from stay in Harald’s place. The house was neat and as good as we expected. The location is very good. Harald was very friendly. He also helped us find a rental car, while other company refused to rent one for us due to lack of credit card. We do recommend ;)

travaux de voirie- réveil tous les jours saf le dimanche à 7h50 par le marteau piqueur et les pelleteuses. Terrasse donnant sur la route donc aucune intimité, trop de passage et de bruit frigo trop petit (coures obligatoires tous les jours) sinon location propre gerant sympathique

Thank you for the rating. The constuction on the street is more or less finished. I inform you before you arrive that there is a construction on the street. The apartment is in a small street near the cliffs and with sea view, normaly without a lot of traffic. The most of the traffic was from the construction. And for this trouble I gave you a refund. Schöne Reise!

Die FW entsprach dem was wir uns vorgestellt haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Außergewöhnlich war die Betreuung durch Herrn Wittmann der immer mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle war. Er hat gute Tipps gegeben : Auto ,Ausflüge ,Restaurants alles war top. Der Ort und die Umgebung ist für jeden richtig der die Nähe zum Strand sucht, Ruhe genießen möchte, es aber auch nicht weit haben möchte zum Trubel eines Ferienorts. Alles in allem ist Carvoeiro sehr gut zu empfehlen!

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit super Meerblick

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit Meerblick. Direkt am Atlantik und zum Strand sind es nur ein paar Minuten die Treppe hinunter. Herr Wittmann hat uns bei all unseren Anliegen sehr geholfen und uns auch viele Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Viele Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Der Hauptort Carvoeiro besitzt sogar eine Kirche mit deutschem Gottesdienst. Algar Seco zwischen Vale de Centianes und Carvoeiro gelegen ist ein lohnendes Ziel.

Klasse Apartment

Fuer uns war der Urlaub ein Hit. Nur ein paar Schritte von unserem Apartment und wir standen direkt am Atlantik. Das Fruehstueck jeden morgen auf der Terrasse bei herrlichem Sonnenschein und mit Blick auf das Meer ist nicht zu toppen. Die Unterkunft hat alles was benoetigt wird und war sehr sauber. Wir empfehlen das unseren Freunden.

A really good apartment

A great apartment in a nice location. As I said in my previos review following my visit in September 2011 you can easily walk to the beach and there is also a supermarket, cafes and restaurants within walking distance - The Tropical Bar is great for breakfast and very reasonable.... Access to the cliff to walk is a very short walk away and if you can also walk into Carvoeiro if you want to go a bit further - still not far but you may want to hop into taxi for the return trip..... Whilst there is no real need to hire a car if you do you will discover a beautiful coastline with lots of stunning hidden beaches. We really loved Portugal on our first visit, said we would be back and will be again....

wonderful apartment

I have stayed at this apartment on several occasions and cannot praise it enough. The owners have taken great care in decoration and furnishings making the stay home from home. The front bedroom opens onto a balcony with sea views in the mornings and wonderful sunsets of an evening. The apartment is in a very safe area you can be on your own as I have been, with friends or with children. Your are only a 5 minute walk from a small beach with a very good restaurant, 20 minutes walk from Caveroeiro a lovely town with great restaurants and shopping. Very reasonable taxi fares. The local family run taxi firm will be able to take you to some lovely beaches and restaurants if you do not want tostay in the area. I shall be going again . Rita. want to stay in the area. I shall definately be going again tnis year. Rita There is also a small parade of shops and eateries within 2 minutes walk with very friendly and helpful patrons. Can highly recommond the supermarket and Helders (breakfast the best) Just give it a try you will want to return again and again There is a small parade of shops and eateries within two minutes walk from the apartment all very friendly
