This professionally designed property is perfect for families or executives traveling for work and those wanting a stay-cation experience (NO PARTIES ALLOWED AS PER ORDINANCE).

This home sleeps 1 guest up to 12 and is perfectly positioned by the community walking trail, sand volleyball court, outdoor workout area, and playground.

Enjoy the over-sized Kitchen, walk-in Closets, Laundry Room with washer and dryer, and a Resort-like Backyard complete with swimming pool, lounge areas, and fire pit. The pool, hottub, and patio is equipped with bistro lighting at night.

The Master Bedroom includes a King bed, a Twin daybed complete with a Twin trundle pull out if needed. This space also doubles as a sitting area. One guest bedroom includes a Twin bed and desk area for work. The third bedroom includes another King bed and the fourth bedroom is includes two sets of bunk beds, Twin over Full and a Twin over Twin.

The upstairs area also includes a Gameroom complete with game table, and assortment of games and sitting area. Three SMART TVs are throughout the property with access to Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video.

The main bathrooms have waterfall shower heads and are stocked with towels, washcloths and hairdryers. shampoo, soap, and conditioner are also provided.

The spacious Kitchen is completely stocked with cookware, a coffee station, and all necessary kitchen necessities. A grill is also provided in the backyard space.

We are proud owners of this amazing home and love to provide a CLEAN and SAFE Property. No Smoking and No Pets are Allowed.

This beautiful property is 5 minutes away from Lake Lewisville, the Star, Stonebriar Mall, Dr. Pepper Ballpark (Home of the Rough Riders), Shops at Legacy, Legacy West, *Grandscape, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Hawaiian Falls Waterpark, and 5 Star sports park. Major highways are also less than 5 minutes away including the North Dallas Tollway, 121/Sam Rayburn Tollway. Both Love Field and DFW Airport are less than 25 minutes away.

We planned the entire trip around the pool & hot tub being accessible and it was dirty and not working. No response from the host or home owners. Very disappointed with my stay. Broken toilet seat & bugs in the restrooms.

Great Home, perfect for our family vacation!

This home was perfect for our family of 6. It had more than enough room for everyone. Loved the house and the pool. Had everything we needed and more! I would highly recommend!

Not a good experience

This is a nice home but it is a shame that is is not properly maintained. Upon arrival we did a walk through as we often do when traveling with children. The house is dirty! We have so many pictures. There were large spiders in the master, debris behind the night stands in the master including used tissues & flossers. Bath shower and tub still had hair & the floor was clearly not swept. The entire house was not swept, vacuumed or mopped. Every surface had a sticky or greasy reside. The light fixtures have cobwebs. The hall bath smells like a convenience store bathroom. The kitchen was disgusting. There were dead flies in the fridge & dirty dishes in the dishwasher. It was so hot upstairs that I immediately contacted the owner asking if maybe the a/c was not working. She stated everything works well it's just hot in the summer. I am from South Texas & know heat! Needless to say the upstairs was not used at all during our stay because the bedroom with bunk beds did not cool down. The bunks are also broken & wobbly. The downstairs office/bedroom had cheetos tucked in under the comforter & nail clippings on the side table. The smell from the hall bath is so strong that door must be kept close to use that room. We alerted the owner. She stated she would send the cleaning staff the next day. The cleaning staff told us the owner do not allow enough time for cleaning and refuse to pay for deep clean. We were told we would receive a refund for the cleaning fees, we are still waiting.

Amazing stay

This is a beautiful residence in an amazing neighborhood. Very safe area with several grocery stores and fun amenities nearby. Communication with host/owners was great and they responded to every message within minutes. We had an issue with the pool upon arrival and the owners were apologetic. The issue was fixed less than 12hrs later & we had a great time. Residence is fully stocked with absolutely everything you’ll need. Would definitely book again. Thank you Jana & Tim!!

Awful Experience

We left immediately. The house was in need of a deep clean. Stains on furniture/carpet, food left out and thick dust layers under furniture. Bunk beds were broken. Also, the main reason we left was that driveway area in the backyard by the basketball goal was covered in tree debris. It looked like it had been there for a while. I really wish there was a way to share photos on here so I could show just how bad this was. I have never written a bad review on VRBO and have stayed at numerous houses over the past 8 years. The owner of this property actually changed the description on Vrbo after I told her about the back concrete area not being unusable. Here is the line that was taken out of her description on this website. “The backyard also includes a basketball goal on the over-sized driveway area that is enclosed” I know the owner will try to rebut all of this, but unfortunately for her I have screenshots of everything and can prove that this is all accurate. That space was important to us because we were in town for a baseball tournament and needed it to practice. KEEP LOOKING, you can find something much nicer I promise!! We have always had such amazing hosts so this one was very disappointing. Also, I will always check dates from now on from previous reviews. All the good ones on this house are very old.

Lots of Space, Rooms, Beds, Pooltime

There was a brief hiccup, due to a late check out that push the cleaners late, so we had to check in about an hour late. The owner readily agreed to allow us to check out an hour late on the final day as an exchange. After that hiccup, everything was great. We are a family of 9, consisting of grandparents, parents and aunt and uncle, and four boys between the ages of six and 13. We had plenty of rooms to separate into, plenty of beds to sleep in, lots of space to watch TV, privacy when desired, wand plenty of pool time, even though tornadoes nearby and storms that briefly interrupted our pool fun. The owners were responsive. The pool maintainers come through weekly. There are tons of restaurants and stores within 2 miles, and a lot of excitement and entertainment to be found in the Grandscape just over a mile away. There is a great walking or cycling trail right beside the house and you can find plenty of people in the neighborhood walking their dogs or basically around. We felt very safe and luxurious in the neighborhood.

Excellent Stay

The property is located in a great location for local entertainment and outings. Every store you need is close by. This is a home away from home. It is spacious for sleeping arrangements and the kitchen has great space to cook your family a big meal. The backyard looks amazing but it was November and too cool for guest to swim and enjoy. Recommend this property for summer or winter !!

Family getaway in the Colony

Pictures and reviews made this home seem like a great pick. We were very excited to stay here but we were very disappointed upon arrival. The pool and hot tub were filled with leaves and the back yard was in disarray as if it hadn’t been cleaned after a recent storm. Inside the house looked clean at first glance but we found garbage and ear plugs from the previous guests. The bunk beds upstairs had some of the railing and steps for the ladder busted off. There were spider webs everywhere and the kitchen was dingy. In the master bathroom the jet tub hums all night long. You can hear it in every bedroom. It kept us up many nights. Also the thermostat would be turned down at random times until I asked the owner if there was a rule to the temp of the house. This stopped happening after I mentioned it to them. There was no schedule set either as I am familiar with this type of thermostat. We decided to end our vacation 2 days early and received no comment from the owner when we told them. It was at one time a beautiful home but it needs some serious upkeep.

And stayed again!

This charming house is in a great location, close to everything you need in and around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Our second stay was as great as the first one. The property manager is very responsive and takes issues seriously. We have had an urgent problem resolved at 11 pm, most notably within 1 hour of reporting it… all hassle free.

Very spacious property

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The neighborhood is very quiet and very clean. Everything was easy to use and the owners are very accommodating. I would recommend this property to family and friends.

Beautiful home

This was an absolutely stunning property and the location is perfect. No detail was left out, from makeup wash cloths to laundry pods. The hosts checked in regularly and this is conveniently located to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping plazas.

Wonderful home in central location to greater DFW

Upon entry into this lovely home you are greeted with cleanliness, tasteful décor, open floor plan and all the amenities needed for a stay. A true home away from home. Wonderful pool area. The propane bottle was empty, a quick phone call to the owners and a new bottle and grill brush were there in short order. Would not hesitate to book again.
