素晴らしいオーシャンフロントコテージ、ライトハウスビュー、オーシャンフロントマスタースイート2室

Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are so happy that your charming family enjoyed the house with its enjoyable amenities like the fire pit in the broad oceanfront lawn, cooking under the vaulted barnwood ceilings at the 14-foot-long mahogany kitchen counters. I am especially proud of our “King’s Grant” wide pine floors, with hand-sanded edges, fastened with forged iron nails. We really like the way the many sliding doors opening onto the wraparound mahogany decks, and to the inviting outdoor shower with a view of Gurnet Lighthouse, and panoramic ocean views. Personally, I really love the way Oceanfront Timberframe feels so uniquely private on its acreage of lawn and oceanfront. And it’s fun to have Plymouth’s historic sites, beaches, restaurants and whale watching just minutes away. It was a pleasure having your family here, and I’m so glad the house gave you such a happy week together. Hope you’ll return soon.

So glad you enjoyed the big mahogany wraparound deck, with outdoor shower looking out toward the ocean (and the Gurnet lighthouse.) The panorama of that expanse of sea really does invite you to sit and contemplate the beauty of nature. We are so grateful to have such thoughtful guests and hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you again. Sincere thanks.

Thank you, Audra, it was a pleasure having you as our guests. I hope you walked up the road a bit to see the many remnants of the Stone Estate -- homes created from the Estate's buildings -- pool house, guest house, stable, gardeners cottage, Tea House (fashioned after the tea house at Versailles.) You probably saw the massive stone ramparts holding up the ocean end of the POLO field. For any guest who is interested, I will post a photo of the incredible estate where our home now sits in what was just extra oceanfront acreage. In fact, I will put it on VRBO so anyone interested can see this amazing faded glory of a bygone gilded age expanse of the Stone Estate. - Thanks for coming! - Robin

I am so sorry that you did not sleep well due to the fact that our beds -- although new and of high quality -- aren’t "Temperpedic" beds like yours at home. We will certainly consider your comments, as we often replace our bedding. Travel can also contribute to back fatigue with the added fact that one often must adjust to an unfamiliar mattress whether at a hotel or a 5 star home like ours (as is also the case when you buy a new mattress for your own bedroom.) We respectfully suggest that people with special needs make those needs known in advance before booking so that we can be sure they have all the comfort they desire and deserve.

Thank you! It was a pleasure having you stay at our panoramic ocean view Oceanfront Timberframe Cottage. That separate queen suite is great for adult privacy, or in-laws, or two couples wanting equally nice queen suites for a vacation. Glad it was the adult away-from-the-kids, while they were snug in the vaulted ceiling main house with stone fireplace and wraparound ocean and light house views. Looking forward to you return visit in summer!

GRILL WORKED GREAT, they could not figure out the igniter. OVEN WORKS GREAT, a beautiful Miele convection oven, with ignorant users. WE CHECK EVERY SINGLE piece of linen and remove everything for sterilization. This is an exaggeration by a man who could not figure out how to turn on the outdoor shower, AND was totally unaware and surprised he was supposed to check out on August 13. If you look at our nearly 100% five star reviews, you will possibly surmise that this befuddled guest might need a personal assistant to help him function.

Thank you, Kim, it was a pleasure having you as our guests. Glad to hear you found Oceanfront Timberframe well-appointed, with outstanding views, and it was interesting to hear what caught your eye - lights "at a distance" from airplanes... never heard that before! We receive comments about the twinkling lights of Plymouth across the bay, and the Gurnet Lighthouse across the water. Now something new to watch afar. And since we're talking about watching distant lights in the sky, I have to mention that our home 8 miles down the beach, called SandyToes, HomeAway listing #212624, sometimes has a phenomenal display of the Aurora Borealis. We saw the Northern Lights around 4 am in northern sky over the ocean before family had to leave early am for Boston to fly home (so why fly all the way to Iceland?) It was a pleasure having such talented guests (architects) take such excellent care of our home and would be so happy to welcome you again! Many thanks - Robin
