We had a great stay for the week. Minor problems with the fireplace an the fridge leaking on the inside. Driveway is quite steep and non maneuverable particularly if your in a truck

The house was amazing! And excellent customer service throughout the whole stay. Check in was smooth as was checkout. So much was provided for the stay, all needs were fulfilled! Would definitely recommend.

Great location!

We wanted to be able to go to the National Park as well go into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This cabin is perfect for visiting those areas!

Anniversary Trip

Great cabin in a private location. We had everything we needed for a peaceful vacation. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of towels, dishes, and dishes and laundry supplies. Hosts were very helpful and communicative. Would book again!

Amazing

The overall stay was exceptional. All the comforts of home and convenient to all the main attractions. Easy access to pigeon forge, and Gatlinburg. Everything you need in a short distance. Very relaxing and quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful cabin in the mountains!

My spouse and I had an amazing, relaxing Fall retreat here. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the back deck. It was nice having a pool table and board games to play. The hot tub was a plus; very nice for those cool nights. The morning view was amazing...sad to leave. :)

Nice Cabin

It was a great stay. Very beautiful wood cabin. Only reason I gave it a 4 was because of the cleanliness and out of date stuff. The driveway was also difficult to get up. But overall is was a cool cabin to stay in.

Wonderful

My wife and I came and celebrated her birthday and to "get away" TN is one of our favorite places. This cabin had a very "homey" feel as soon as you walk in. Everything we needed was there and the communication with the Host stayed open. So, to sum it up, we enjoyed the cabin and our stay very much 😁

Convenient access to everything!

Smokey Mountain Memories is a wonderful cabin perfect for a family of 4 or two couples. We really enjoyed our stay here at this cabin. It is in a very convenient location -- close to Smokey Mountains National Park, Dollywood and Splash Country, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Other activities are also close by, such as rafting, ziplining, and horseback riding to name a few. After hours of activities at the end of the day it was nice to soak our sore muscles in the hot tub. Bill and Nicole are excellent hosts and did everything that they could to make our stay welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here to make memories of your own!

The cabin was easy to find and close to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but also had the calm and privacy me and my husband was wanting. The driveway was a little steep but we are from West Virginia, we are use to crazy roads so it wasn't to bad. Someone with a vehicle low to the ground might drag at the beginning of it so that is something to consider when booking. Our over all stay was great ! I would recommend this cabin especially for a couple.

Great location!

We had a great stay overall. It’s not far to Gatlinburg at all driving, but I wouldn’t say walking distance. The driveway was the only issue we had. It is very steep and narrow..at the top, there isn’t much room to turn around but after a couple drives in and out, my nerves calmed a bit. The road on the way to the cabin is narrow and steep but you’re in the mountains, it’s to be expected. The cabin itself was very clean. It was fully stocked with all you need. Plenty of towels and even had coffee and salt n pepper. The pool table and hot tub was fun! Host was very responsive. My husband and I had a great time!

5 stars just isn’t enough!!!!

This was a surprise birthday trip for my husband who has been in law enforcement for 20+ years. We always take family vacations but we really needed a relaxing couple get away and this place lived up to that promise plus more. Great location as it is located just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of tourism but sits almost in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We actually got to see a bear on the side of the roadway literally 200 yards from the cabin. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for couples who have spent half a lifetime together or couples who are just starting out. It was so amazing we requested an additional day. That extension took literally 10 minutes on the day before we were originally scheduled to leave! Communications from Michael were on point and quick. Check in was a breeze and check out was almost heart breaking lol. If you are searching for a place to make memories this is the place to stay trust me! I look forward to our next trip to this heavenly home!~Heather

Unresponsive host

Arrived at property … door code I was given did not work . Tried contacting host for over two hours ! After no response I left property in which host finally responded 30 minutes later after he reset code to code he provided. Contacted VRBO about a refund and they tried to contact host who didn’t answer . A week later and still trying to get host to answer in order to get a refund ! If this is a premier host I would hate to see what VRBO doesn’t constitute as premier host ! Very unhappy with how this situation has been handled by VRBO and Host as it wasn’t in my control that I couldn’t access property .

Nice, quiet get away. But very steep driveway

Besides some small things that needed to be cleaned (the inner shower curtain, and the hot tub) everything was wonderful. Nice, quiet location. Secluded with very few neighbors who can see the back porch. Inside the cabin was so nice and easy to sit back and relax on the couch with the fireplace. They do not warn you about just how steep the driveway actually is before you book though. It worked out fine for us, but we are kind of used to it. Wonderful, quick communication with the property owner as well. Michael was great.
