The location was amazing with incredible views and access to the river. The road access is well maintained despite being gravel which was great and the beds we used were comfortable.

Peaceful, close to great hiking. We also enjoyed many activities in and around the property as the home was fully equipped inside and out with everything you might expect for a getaway on the river. An unexpected and welcome accommodation was the gate on the deck that allowed our dog to roam freely without us worrying about an escape. We weren’t disappointed with our first trip to the Shenandoah Valley.

We are so glad you enjoyed your first visit to the Shenandoah. We recently completed the deck, and adding the gate for both kids and dogs was a top priority for us. It is wonderful to hear that you found the home fully equipped for your stay. We would welcome you back anytime should you decide to visit the area again.

The house was lovely and exactly as described. Short walk to the river with a fire pit. House was spotless. There were a bunch of tubes and some kayaks and a couple canoes available for use. The owner was very responsive whenever I had questions.
