Beautiful log home in sunny Carinthia with fantastic views between Lakes

At 800m above sea level, in the middle of one of the most beautiful holiday regions in Carinthia, is our in Summer 2013 newly built log house in the mountain village of Zlan. On the approximately 1000qm large hillside plot in the village location our new Finnish log cabin on nearly 75sqm living space 'pure wood' next to its healthy living environment and the wonderful view the following features (also see our video of the house - created by dear guests!):
Open living area, 2 rooms: 1 with single bed 90cm, 1 with pull-out bed 2x80cm, cozy sleeping loft with double bed (2x90cm), W-LAN FREE, wooden floorboards, bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine, kitchen with stove (4 ceramic plates plus oven) , Dishwasher, sink, refrigerator, dining table, satellite TV, radio, large wooden terrace, veranda, barbecue, parking at the house, small supermarket (adeg) with fresh bread rolls a few steps away in the village.
Zlan is part of the Nature Park community Stockenboi and is located exactly between the two beautiful Carinthian Lakes Millstätter See and Weissensee.
From the small town of Zlan a magnificent view the Drautal offers down at the southernmost mountain of Austria, the Karawanken.
Holiday in Carinthia: Almromantik in summer, lush pastures and stunning mountain valleys, family skiing in the winter - and to the south, sunny climate in which you can let your soul again.
From the covered terrace the view goes into the Drautal and the Weissensee Nature Park to the majestic Karawanken in the south. Weissensee and Millstätter See are in about 15 minutes to reach by car. This quiet eastern shore of Lake Weissensee entices with a beautiful swimming area, boat rides, walks or just a lazy day at the beach. In winter, the Weissensee transforms into one of the largest natural ice rinks in Europe; a paradise for skaters and walkers.
On Millstatt invite various resorts like Seeboden, Millstatt and Döbriach for a stay or a stroll.
In the Nature Park Weissensee with our local mountain Goldeck and its grand panoramic alpine road directly from Zlan out there are numerous opportunities for hiking; from relaxed family outing to the mountain climbing. In the area you will find many more excursion possibilities, such as the beautiful Nockberge, the fashionable Bad Kleinkirchheim, the Ossiacher See with hiking and skiing Gerlitzen, Villach with its southern flair and the beautiful Faaker See, the Windische height, in the beautiful Gailtal with the cozy Pressegger See, the bustling shopping town of Spittal an der Drau, Lake Wörthersee 45 minutes away - or the opportunity to visit the Mediterranean in just over 2 hours on a blue day - and much more!

Just a few steps from the holiday home is the well-equipped Adeg supermarket, which also offers fresh bread and groceries on Sundays.

About one kilometer further down the Stockenboier road, just before the Zlaner reservoir, lies the cozy Gasthaus Fischerhof, with a summer terrace and generous portions ranging from schnitzel to pizza.
Also just a few steps from our cabin are it up to a small panoramic hill in the middle between the Zlaner districts where you will find a children's playground with football field.

Winter: In the rustic wooden house comfortably sitting on the sofa in front of the roaring furnace, watching the mountains and the snow flurries from the window ... what could be better in winter ...
