Island Retreat at it's best!

We love staying at Island Retreat and this is one of the best units we have stayed in. Very clean, well stocked, and quiet. We love the short walk to the beach over the dunes. It's the perfect place to stay if you want to relax on the beach.

Great location with quick walk to the beach. You can hear the waves all day from the patio. The condo nice sized for a family.

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

Place was super cute, comfy and easy to get to the beach! Kitchen was well stocked with all the hardware you could need. Backyard patio was peaceful and perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktail.

Great Stay

Our apartment was easy to get to and near the beach. We just had to walk onto the boardwalk to assess the beach. I enjoyed the back patio. The apartment was always nice and cool. The shower was great. It was also very quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Quick getaway

The place was perfect! Everything we needed was available in the condo.. The condo was very clean and cozy! The beach was so close and we spent the majority of our trip in the ocean which is what we wanted! Perfect trip!

Great place!!

We were very happy with this condo! Had everything we needed except for a shrimp boil pot so we went to IGA and bought one. Soo close to the boardwalk and beach. You can hear the ocean from the back porch. And the pool was wonderful. We would definitely rent again!

Everything thing went well with reservations. Communication was excellent. The only kind of disappointment was that when we got there my grandson was playing on the floor and all of the sudden he said look what I found. Well, what he found was pizza crust under one of the couch’s obviously from the previous people staying in our unit. So that was kind of gross. The other disappointment was the couches. They were very small to accommodate 3 adults and a 4 year old. And I hate to say it but they weren’t very comfortable for us to relax and watch tv together in the evening.

Nice Place

A bit of a drive through the complex. Plenty of speed bumps and pot holes. Regarding the lodging itself, the ground floor unit was perfect for us, as my wife is recovering from a broken leg. The cupboard was pretty well stocked, which was greatly appreciated. The gift basket was a nice touch.

Lovely

The kitchen had all that we needed for quick meals (we brought frozen BBQ and spaghetti) between our on the beach times. We played board games in the afternoons and enjoyed the mornings and evenings on the beach. Port-o-potties on the beach so we didn't have to go back and forth for bathroom breaks. We were quite comfortable and had a lovely stay.

All that we needed was here

Great location! Island Retreat complex is well kept. Boardwalk to the beach and pool are very close to the condo. Kitchen had everything including big refrigerator with freezer. As advertised- washers, dryers and grills were on property, not in condo. Strong internet inside condo. Big screen smart TV. Queen bed was a bit soft. Would definitely stay here again.

The beach was right over the sand dunes. Very convenient.Back porch faced ocean but it was 1st floor so could hear it but not see it.Great size for 2 couples.Many ants on back porch. We enjoyed it

Made the booking on a whim and thought it was a beach house. Was surprised to arrive to a condo but had no argument to make to my ignorance. Walked in and was immediately satisfied with it. Lots of security in the area, pool was great. Had a great time

Very cute and comfy place!

The condo was super cute, great set up and had everything we needed. It was super close to the beach and boardwalk and the pool. I loved the decorations and the beds were comfortable! We have no complaints at all and highly recommend!

Great getaway!

Condo was great! Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our long holiday weekend. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything I needed to cook all our meals. Loved being on the ground floor. Made it super easy unloading and loading. Boardwalk to the beach was very close and pool was right across from condo. Only negative for me but not for my kid that’s scared of the dark is that the lights on the outside stairway light up the front bedroom a lot. Thankfully I brought my sleep mask so all was good. Checkin was very easy and Jesse was very responsive with any questions. Definitely recommend this condo and look forward to future stays.
