This 1976 sq. ft 3 bed/2 Bath home located in the heart of Sonoita is the perfect place for a "Wine Down" getaway! Situated on 4.13 acres in the prestigious Starr View Estates. 3 spacious bedrooms with views from every room in the house! Comfortably sleeps 6 (master- king bed, guest bedroom 1- king bed, guest bedroom 2- queen bed). Tastefully remodeled with concrete floors throughout and updated kitchen and bathrooms. Open floor plan with a charming living room, dining area, and large modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances . Fully stocked for all your cooking needs. Enjoy sunrise and sunset views and the most amazing stargazing from the wrap around patio. 6 person hot tub on the back porch is the perfect place to "wine down" with a glass of wine and take in the amazing mountain views and calmness of the Sonoita topography. So close to all Sonoita has to offer including wineries, brewery, restaurants & hiking!

Sonoita/Elgin features more than 15 wineries and tasting room. Also known as a great spot for hunting, bird watching, and star gazing. Tons of hiking opportunities including the "Arizona Trail". Patagonia Lake State park is a 30 minute drive, and Parker Canyon Lake is about 45 minutes away. Kartchner Caverns State Park with amazing cave tours is only 30 minutes away.

We really enjoyed the house! The hot tub was super relaxing and the location is amazing. While we loved the spacious living area and kitchen, we did feel a little like we were in a fish bowl since there are no curtains in that space. Also could have used more spoons, more coffee cups, and more hot tub towels. It is a great house and we would absolutely stay again. Thank you!

Great stay all around

We had a great weekend staying here with two other couples. The house was super clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The kitchen and grill were well-stocked, which made it easy to throw together a meal one night. We loved hanging out in the hot tub under the stars—it was so quiet and peaceful, and the sunsets were gorgeous. Great location too, really close to all the wineries. We’d definitely come back!

Great location, beautiful home

Beautiful views

We spent 2 nights at the Wine Down Lodge. It had beautiful views of the Sonoita foothills. It was the perfect location for our trip to the Southern AZ wine country. The house was well appointed and very clean. Kate was very responsive to our questions. We would highly recommend this home and will come back.

Incredibly well appointed, great location!

We had a wonderful 2 day stay at ‘Wine Down.’ Unlike so many other rentals, it was incredibly well appointed with all the things you need to make a cup of coffee, cook a meal, etc! It was comfortable, clean and in a great location. It was easy to communicate with the owner and she was very accommodating. We will definitely recommend Wine Down to our friends and hope to be back ourselves!

Lovely home in a quiet, beautiful area

We met some friends for some orienteering meets in several remote desert areas. Sonoita was well placed for those, so we hoped to find a comfortable rental. The Wine Down exceeded our expectations. Well stocked, comfortable and spacious for our group of 4, it was the ideal base.

Girls Trip

We enjoyed our stay. We managed to pick the worst weather, but it was actually quite cozy to watch the snowfall from the big picture window. And then deer wandered through. We spent the next day touring around and visited a couple wine tastings. Very relaxing and enjoyable, the house was cozy and warm. We cooked and played cards and drank wine. Very relaxing two nights.

Excellent getaway

Group of friends weekend away to relax with no responsibilities. We visited some wineries but mostly just stayed at the residence and made good food, played games, talked and rested. Very nice time!

Great home and location for Sonoita wine country!

The men brought us here for a quail hunt. We stayed over to enjoy the warmer climate and just a few wineries. Each couple bringing home a case of wine!

Wine country rental with a view

The location of this property is so special, located hillside in view of the surrounding mountains and fields of cows grazing. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. The best part is enjoying a soak in the jacuzzi while you watch the sunset. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and going for a drive to explore the local wineries. We hope to visit again!

Gorgeous views!

We had a wonderful stay at the Wine Down! We loved the (fantastic) bottle of wine the owners provided. That was a nice surprise. The home is clean and decorated beautifully. It’s close to town and to local wineries. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the hot tub was a nice addition. Our only suggestion would be providing safety bars for the two sliding doors.
