About this property

Quiet, bright, and spacious village house

Lovely house in the heart of a village 5 km away from Ile Rousse and beautiful sandy beaches. Perfect for those who seek tranquility, authenticity, and swimming opportunities.

The house is equipped with all modern amenities: a kitchen (with a cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, capsule coffee maker, coffee maker, and kettle) (approx. 20 sqm), a spacious living room (approx. 35 sqm), a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and toilet, a mezzanine bedroom with a shower, a sink and toilet, a laundry room with a sink, and a third independent toilet. There are 2 large beds (140 cm).

The bright southeast-facing house has a refined decoration and an unobstructed view of the garden (200 sqm) and the mountains. The garden is separated from the house by a small path. Free parking is available 1 minute away on foot. High-speed internet (fiber) and a large-screen TV are also provided.

The village has several restaurants and a grocery store, and a supermarket is 10 minutes away by car. The minimum length of stay is one week. The house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or very young children (due to the steps inside the house) or for people allergic to cats (our cat Pilou may come to see you). Pets are not allowed (because of Pilou and the hedgehog in the area). The neighborhood is calm and quiet, and no parties are allowed.

We had a wonderful time in a charming Corsican village that was delightfully untouristy off-season. We loved the well-appointed house in the heart of the village, the view from the kitchen window, the evening walks leading to breathtaking sunsets, the little épicerie, the fruit shop, the nearby hiking opportunities through enchanting surroundings, the proximity to the coastal towns, and especially the Corsican sense of calm and art of living.Many thanks to the owner Dany, with whom communication was always excellent, and heartfelt thanks as well to the lovely housekeeping lady — the wonderful Dalila.We were especially enchanted by the Fango Valley — a place that truly captivated us. A must-visit for anyone staying in this house after us!

Close to the sea and the mountains

Corbara is a lovely town in the hills above Ile Rousse. Our host has been very nice and helpful. Especially since our French is quite poor - thanks for your perfect English! The accommodation is a well renovated old house with a lot of charme and a beautiful view into the mountains towards SantAntonino. There is also a nice garden mit lemon an orange trees, where on can enjoy your meals. We had a lovely holiday here. The house cat is a lovely creature - unfortunately our kids now want a cat...

Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sets unmittelbar, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Check in und out funktionierten reibungslos und die beiden Küchenausstattungen waren üppig. Es gibt schließlich im Haus und im Garten ein Küche mit Ausstattung. Das Natursteinhaus ist bestens renoviert und der direkt gegenüberliegende Garten lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage in Corbara ist top um Strände zu erreichen oder Ausflüge ins Hinterland zu unternehmen. Wir verbrachten 18 Nächte in der Unterkunft und hatten einen herrlichen Urlaub.

Wundervolles Ferienhaus
