***Complimentary Beach Service included with the rental (two chairs and umbrella setup daily March-October)***

Brand new wood plank tile flooring currently being installed along with new furniture. South Bay by the Gulf is a beautiful resort ideally located right in the center of Destin. This spacious resort offers over 300 feet of beautiful, private beach. This 3 bedrooom/2.5 bath unit has everything you need to make a memorable vacation. The first floor is home to a fully stocked kitchen, living room / dining room area, a half bathroom and a spacious deck. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The unit has a washer and dryer.
Walk out your back door and you are steps away from the pool and Tennis court. The pool is heated the week of Thanksgiving, week of Christmas, and February-March. Just a short walk and you are on the white sand beaches enjoying those beautiful emerald gulf waters! This unit is on beach side of 98. No streets to cross to the beach!
Complex amenities include a beautiful 5 acre freshwater fishing lake, 2 pools and 2 kiddie pools, tennis courts, shuffle board, beach volley ball, and BBQ pits. There are world class restaurants and great shopping within walking distance the the complex

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was supplied with everything we needed without having to purchase extra items along with our groceries, which saved us a good bit of money. It was pool side on the back porch and not too far from the beach.

The condo was clean and literally steps from the pool. We had no problems with people being too loud at night, though, even though we were right outside the pool. There was a small issue with the blinds that was repaired the same day we called the facility. I would stay here again!

Positives… The beach service was phenomenal! The location to the beach, food and shopping is fantastic. .The spoiler for us was lack of communication. There was a problem with the air-conditioning. When we arrived, The windows and doors of the condo or wide open there was maintenance there. Apparently the air-conditioning was having an issue. They were putting in some temporary air-conditioning in the upstairs. It was very hot. No one contacted us to inform us that there was an issue with the air-conditioning or that we were not able to get in to the condo at four after driving eight hours. We were only able to park in one of the parking spots due to the next door, renters being parked in one of our spots the entire time we were there.

We have the portable AC upstairs to assist the regular AC during peak heat Summer months. We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible and that is why they are there.

Perfect location and very comfortable! Wild dolphins came up to us while swimming short distance from beach. The pool is right outside and was never crowded.

Property location is close to pool and short walk to the beach! Property however needs maintenance and is older. Broken blinds on rear door so no privacy to the patio which is right by the pool, dishwasher was leaking, door did not shut properly and looked like the door was broken at one point and fixed. The property also was not very clean on the interior and the patio furniture was all dirty and needed cleaned to even use. Also the 3rd bedroom has no air conditioning and gets very warm. As far as location it is very convenient but the property it’s self needs some attention
