Large, beautifully furnished 4 bedroom/3 bath split-level island home is located 50 yards from sparkling Baby Beach (a quiet, protected blue lagoon in the heart of Poipu Beach). Sleeps up to 10 guess. We have renovated the interior with new carpet, paint, Travertine tile flooring, bathroom fixtures, granite counters, cabinets, and stainless steel appliances. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, living room area with flat-screen television, cathedral ceilings, large lanais, and ceiling fans throughout. Downstairs there is a King bedroom, full bath, and living area with a flat-screen television. Major appliances including washer & dryer, cable, flat screen televisions, Internet Connection, DVD player, and outdoor gas barbecue for guest use. Large private backyard and front are landscaped with coconut trees, tropical flowers and banana trees. This is island living at its finest! Great location. Note: This vacation home is located in the tsunami evacuation zone. Evacuation procedures are provided to our guests in the Guest Manual and it is posted on the front door at the home.

Our home is cleaned according to CDC guidelines for prevention of the spread of the Covid virus. We ask our guests to follow safety guidelines and local ordinances for visitors to the island of Kauai. Help us all to stay safe. Mahalo!

Great location

Poipu - Baby Beach House

Thank you for sharing this great beach house with us. My family loved our stay. Plenty of comfortable room for everyone. Quiet neighborhood, just steps from the beach. The house had more than enough beach gear for our group of eight. We would absolutely love to rent this house again.

Poipu get-a-way

Location is perfect. Walkable to all the retail and restaurants at poipu shopping village. Baby beach is just a few houses down. Perfect setup for our group of 8. 2 masters and two nice kid rooms. Had a wonderful too quick of stay. Thanks.

Great location

Location was perfect. Really enjoyed all the extras like the beach equipment, towels, soap and shampoo. The kitchen was also well stocked. As others have noted, this house does not have air conditioning, so it does get extremely hot inside. Mattresses and bedding could also be updated.

Wonderful all around

My family and I spent a glorious week in this very well appointed property. Only a 5 min walk to Baby Beach, great for little ones. The amount of amenities provided was outstanding. We hope to be able to return again someday. Kauai is a very beautiful place to visit. A lovely shopping centre was walking distance away. Best ice-cream at Lappert's.

Perfect place to celebrate with loved ones

We had an amazing time staying at this house. The location was super convenient for almost everything we planned to do in Kauai. Very clean and up to date, well stocked with everything we needed for the beach. The neighborhood is very safe and seems family oriented. Baby Beach is a nice gem a few steps away. We were momentarily concerned about no AC however we really never needed it because of the great airflow through the home. I would consider staying here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Home away from Home

The property was well equipped for visitors with everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. The weather was a bit cool and cloudy while we were there so the lack of AC wasn't a problem. Loved the location, close to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. I would not classify this property as Luxury but comfortable and homey. There were some upkeep issues that need to be addressed but we would be happy to stay there again.

Perfect

This house has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and all the essential needed for cooking meals at home. There are tons of beach towels, extra bath towels, sheets and pillows. There are bikes, beach chairs, masks, snorkels, fins, umbrellas, chairs - just everything you could need. It’s close to so many shops, restaurants and beaches. We just had a really good time in this beautiful and comfortable house.

A great house near Baby Beach

The space was great for our family of 6 adults and 4 children—including a 10-month-old. There were lots of toys and equipment for the beach, house, and yard and good baby equipment for the 10-month-old (he loved the walker). Fortunately it didn't rain much while we were there, so we were able to eat our dinners at the large table on the deck. We enjoyed being able to easily go back and forth between the house and Baby Beach.

Great location and great house set up!

This was a family vacation with three generations and the house worked beautifully. Well equipped kitchen and lots of towels and linens. The clothes washer really needs servicing and we let the owner know as our clothing and towels we washed came out pretty much as we put them in. We'd recommend the house and would stay there again with our family group.

Golf Vacation

Our travel party was comprised of 10 local retirees. The property was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, pots and pans. The appliances were modern, even the washing machine and dryer.The prevailing tradewinds and overhead fans helped keep the house cool.

Beautiful!!

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was in a great location right next to a small beach. It was our first time to Hawaii but hopefully not the last. We loved the house and would definitely come back. The only thing we wish is that it would have at least had a small window air unit or something to cool down in the evenings. Once the sun went down the temperature dropped and it was cool for the night. Not a huge issue that would keep us from returning.

Fabulous family vacation in Kauai

We loved the house and it was perfect for our 3 generation family of 9, 6 adults and 3 children under 5. It was wonderful being so close to a very safe beach and being able to easily walk back and forth with the little ones for lunches and naps. We also appreciated being able to walk to restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped all sizes of pots and pans and every imaginable appliance. We ate outside on the beautiful wrap around porch most every evening. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs, etc. for our time at the beach. The real plus for us with two 2-year olds in our group was all the gear provided for the little ones including pack and plays, plastic dishes and sand toys. It really felt like home and we would love to return someday!

For a large group, especially if children are involved, this rental is perfect. Lots of beach equipment available and the Pac n Play was a life saver. Lots of room in and out. Close to Baby beach, Lawai beach and snorkel at Kaloa landing. The only caution is this home has no air conditioning and can bake in the afternoon sun. Use the windows/doors for correct air flow and use the window coverings. Full length curtains and darker shades would help. But, hey, it's Kaua'i and the sun shines. Make the most of it.

Generally positive experience

Nice house in a great location. Easy access to Baby Beach, Poipu, and Koloa Town. Our only complaint relates to the dishwasher. It is extremely difficult to load because, as installed, it does not fully open which makes loading and unloading extremely difficult. Have notified the owner of the problem and asked that it be fixed. If this is important to you, ask about repair before renting.

Hale Beach Inn Review

The accommodations and location of this property met our needs. There is plenty of room to spread out for a large group of adults (there were 8 of us). The downstairs unit was especially perfect for the octogenarian in our group, and the interconnecting stairs a godsend for the cooler air it provides between the two levels - it gets quite warm upstairs in the afternoon. The wrap around lanai affords peekaboo views of the ocean, which is accessible 5-6 houses down the street. The propane grill on the lanai appears to be brand new and worked flawlessly. The property manager was super responsive and easy to reach via text; likewise for housekeeping and maintenance personnel. This property would truly shine with an ounce or two of TLC. For example, the downstairs vanity had a broken drawer and all of the lights in the fixture above it were burned out; the handles on several of the non-stick frying pans were loose; one of the bikes had two flat tires; the mattress on the king size bed upstairs is due for an upgrade. Overall we had a really nice stay and would consider renting this property again with a large group.

Excellent house and location

We had two families staying in the house and it was very nice. Plenty of sleeping space and the kitchen and family room was large enough for us all to get together. Very nice extras including soap and shampoo in all the bathrooms and plenty of bath and beach towels. But a great extra is two bicycles, water shoes, snorkel gear and boogie boards. For those who have purchased and left boogie boards in the past you will appreciate the value. The location worked very well. It is walking distance to Baby Beach and a short drive to Poipu Beach. Poipu itself is convenient to all parts of the island. It is also on the dry side so the weather is usually great. The responsiveness from the manager was great. We would stay here again and highly recommend the property. Just to be complete, there are a couple of minor issues that some people might care about. The birds, parakeets I believe, are very loud each morning. And the kitchen and family room area can get warm in the middle of the day. Compared to the positives these were very minor to us but others might be sensitive to different things. My advice - don’t worry about those things this is a great house.

Excellent location

This property was very well maintained and the kitchen well appointed. There were also additional items included to make your stay pleasant. We loved the location as it was close to all the major beaches on the south side with Baby Beach so close we could see it from the end of the driveway. We walked down to that beach each night to watch the breathtaking sunsets. I also appreciated having chairs, umbrellas and boogie and a surf board available for our use. Restaurants and shopping were within a very short walk. The only issue we had was that the heat made it difficult to get to sleep some nights for those staying in the rooms where there were only small windows and no sliding doors. Several additional large fans and/or room air conditioners would be great. I would bring my family back here again. It was a great stay in paradise for all of us!

The location near Baby Beach in one of the best neighborhoods on the island make this home a perfect choice for your vacation. The home is very spacious inside and out and perfect for a large family. The home comes stocked with everything needed to feel like you are at home including BBQ for outdoor cookouts, kitchenware, beach towels, toys, mats, chairs, coolers, and fins for our guests to use. The large backyard and surrounding property makes this a quiet and private setting with the Aloha spirit.

We provide a pack-n-play and high chair for small children as well as plenty of beach toys. The downstairs living area provides a private space for the grandparents while still being part of the rest of the house upstairs. This is a great house for a large family vacation. Plenty of space for everyone to have room to breathe. You won't want to leave once you visit this home.
