We've rented Lake Point Inn several times. It's perfect for our extended family vacation to Northport. Close enough to walk to the public beach and playground with the grandkids. Jon is an excellent communicator and wonderful host.

We spent our Spring Break in Northport. Great location, we had a few hiccups in the house, but Jon was quick to respond and assist. Overall would recommend for a family trip. Plenty of space and a great setup.

Lake Point Inn

We are return guests who love this house in Northport a bit removed from the busier towns in the area. The outdoor landscaping and patio area are beautiful and perfect for dining outside or enjoying a fire. Very responsive host.

Updated home walking distance to town and beach

We were very impressed with this property. Newly remodeled with modern conveniences but maintained the integrity of the home. Very clean and we had so much fun making early runs to Barb's Bakery every morning. Music in the park Friday night was so much fun.

Cute home

The property was beautiful, in great condition and well appointed. Town is near and easy walking distance to everything. The beds were very comfortable. If you have any elderly persons, the upstairs would be difficult for them to navigate to as the stairs are steep but there are plenty of bedrooms and a full large bath downstairs. Lots of seating for meals and a great patio!

Northport Michigan is a wonderful town with lots to surrounding areas to explore. The house is comfortable and great for a family. The bathtub needs grab bars. It is a bit of a hazard for older persons. And the front steps needs a handrail for older persons.

House and location were great- convenient to town and water. Very accessible areas for adult and children cycling. Great night sky for milky way viewing while making S'mores at the firepit! Worth being aware that bath soap and shampoo are not provided. House required was depleted of some necessary household items and furnishings needed some minor repairs both of which were addressed by owners.

The property was a perfect fit for what needed. Our son was married at the Ridge Verterra, and the property fit everything we needed for the groomsmen to get ready. It’s located within walking distance of town. The communication and accommodations were fulfilled. I highly recommend!

House was well stocked with all the supplies needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Very clean and Plenty of seating. Nice outdoor patio/fire pit. 1 full bathroom on the first floor is tight when you have a large group. No one was able to get internet or TV with the internet service. I loved our stay and fell in love with Northport! Ideal location for a family wedding at Northport Marina park and reception at Willowbrook. We were able to walk to everything for the wedding and restaurants, Tom's grocery, local shops and ice cream. (Just need to be careful until you get to the intersection/flashing light into town, but we had no problems. We also brought a folding wagon for our groceries.)The house was spacious for our family of 12: my husband, myself and our kids (teens to young adults, and our 10 month old grand daughter) It was nice to have seating for everyone to eat! We also enjoyed a bonfire one evening. If we ever venture to this part of Michigan again, we would definitely stay here if it was available.

Big Party, Big Plans

We had many people in and out of the house over the course of 10 days getting ready for a family wedding taking place in Suttons Bay. The kitchen was amazing for food prep work, main dishes and desserts, more than adequate counter and table space to accommodate people eating and people working. The patio space was perfect for a little mid week BBQ for the bridal party and all the parents. The bedrooms were roomy and still had plenty of spaces to lay down heads at the end of each long day. We fished and played at nearby parks and beaches. And the on-site parking was more than we could have asked for! Just a great, clean, and well thought out house.
