3 blks to St Marys hospital, 11 blks to Mayo. 2 bedrooms, bathroom are on main floor, 1 bedroom upstairs. All bedrooms are queen size bed. 2,000 sq ft for you to enjoy. Relax in a safe neighborhood. There are 3 steps to get into the home. Oak hardwood floors on main level. We are only 3 blks from restaurants, mall and grocery store. We also have many additional houses downtown. Pets are allowed in the house with prior approval and paid pet fee.

Covered By Faith Rentals is proud to offer the Courage house. Request will be send for the additional funds through Airbnb. Please message me if you have any pets.

Having the ability to walk to St. Mary's or the Clinic is a blessing in itself. Also having restaurants, a mall and grocery stores close by is convenient. Only a couple of blocks off the main highway 52 make this house easy to find and get to. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the main floor. All 3 bedrooms have queen sized beds. We have a bed rail and a pack n play for kids. We have a fan. Full sized couch to sleep on for the 7th guest.

The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator/freezer, oven/range and cooking utensils, Keurig and regular 12 cup coffee makers, small electric appliances, a pot/pan set, baking pans, glassware, cutlery, Corelle dishware, plastic dishware for kids and a high chair. A basic selection of cooking spices and condiments is stocked in anticipation of your arrival.

There is a 'Smart' TV which has several apps to access YOUR personal Netflix, Amazon Prime, or other personal streaming TV accounts. There is high speed wireless internet service available throughout the house. There are alarm clocks at each bedside. Please also check out the assortment of DVDs, board games, jigsaw puzzles, and books for your use. There is central air and heating in the house. The bathroom has a full bath with shower. There is a smart TV in the master bedroom. Internet is high speed. We have many guests who work and go to school from the house.

There is a full size washer and dryer for you to use. There is an iron and ironing board available for you use. There is also a full sized couch that reclines on both ends and TV with a dvd player. Internet is high speed. We have many guests who work and go to school at the house.

No smoking is allowed in the house. Please use the back yard if you need to smoke.

We have been serving in the business industry since 2003. God has led us to this home to help you with your needs. Covered By Faith is run by a family not a cooperation. We care about you and your stay in Rochester.

For non-emergency calls and text please use the hours between 7am-10pm. I am available 24 hours a day. We will assist or meet up if you would like otherwise we let you have your space and privacy.

Bowlocity Entertainment is 3.3 miles away (Bowling, Arcade, Laser Tag). Rental at 800 West Silverlake Dr. NE, Rochester is only 2 miles away which has self-propelled boats on the river, canoeing or kayaking down the Zumbro River, or biking through the city. Here is the map for bike trails Restaurants are only .2 miles, Caribou Coffee is .5 miles away, HyVee groceries is .6 miles away, Walgreens is also .6 miles away. There are also little libraries around the neighborhood. Miracle Mile Shopping Center is .1 miles, there are also shops in the subways under Mayo which is .8 miles away, and Apache mall is 2.4 miles.

There are bus routes throughout the city and we do have lime scooters to use throughout the city not during the winter months.

Easy to get a Lyft or Uber ride or cab ride. Bus routes are in the area. Lime scooters are used throughout the city in spring- autumn.

We stayed here after driving all day. It was a very comfortable home. Jessica was a great hostess. She even gave us a few suggestions for places to eat dinner, which we appreciated. If you are visiting the Mayo Clinic this home is within walking distance.

Cozy, welcoming safe place

We stayed here while in town for my brother’s wedding. The host is very kind and made us feel very welcome. It felt like a safe neighborhood and it was really nice for my parents, my husband and I and our kids to be all together in one place versus two hotel rooms. We also didn’t want to worry about keeping the kids constantly quiet in a hotel room.

This worked perfectly for us! It’s a nice house with everything we needed! Both my brothers family and my family stayed here. It really is a perfect location, easy access to the highway and close to the stores we needed. The owners were very easy to contact and response time was immediate. Jessica was very responsive to all our questions. The stay was not at the above property. We traded with a family needing to be close to the clinic. We had dogs and it worked out very well. I would definitely use Covered by Faith again.

Cozy house close to the Mayo facilities

The property is located very close (in walking distance) to St Mary's Hospital and only a few blocks away from the Mayo Clinic. The house is small but cozy and has all you need for a comfortable stay while visiting the Mayo. Communication with Jessica was very easy. She was replying fast and was very helpful. Especially when we needed to extend the stay due to unexpected hospitalization. We are very thankful that we were at the right place during the rough time.

Great location - but bad experience overall

We rented the house for 11 days while my dad was being treated at Mayo. On day 2 we got bad news and my dad's treatments were ended. I asked if we could get a refund - the property manager told us we'd have to contact VRBO - we looked at all of the paperwork involved and decided it wasn't worth it. She messaged me to see if we were leaving and I messaged back and said not if we can't get a refund. On day 5 we drove my dad 6 hours home - stayed home for a couple days - and on day 8 drove back to Rochester just for a little vacation since we still had the house rented. We pulled up and there was another car in the driveway. We called the property manager and she told us she thought we moved out so she rented it out to somebody else. I told her that we specifically told her we were not leaving early. We still had groceries there - but thank goodness we had grabbed all of our personal belongings. She did issue us a partial refund. However, it's very unethical to charge me for the full stay and yet rent it out to somebody else too - thinking she was going to get away with that. She could have easily messaged me to see if we had moved out and I would have told her again, that no we hadn't. So we drove 6 hours back to Rochester only because we were still paying for the house and then had to find a different place to stay.

Darin and I (Jessica) came to Rochester in 2000 after graduating from college at Bethany Lutheran College and at Minnesota State University of Mankato. We both come from small towns in Minnesota. We lived in California for two years from 2001-2003. We purchase our first home in 2003 in Rochester. We joined a church the same year. I also started my own online book business that same year as Darin continued working in the technology industry. We had our first child, Isabella, in 2005 and the blessings of children began and so did my second job of being a stay at home mom. We had Bryce in 2006. My health wasn't in the best shape to continue having children. When I was able to, we decided to try for Olivia and in 2010 she arrived. In 2011 Elana completed our family. She began Kindergarten in 2017, so it was my time for my next adventure of care taking by starting Covered By Faith short term living.

Why they chose this property

I said a prayer to God asking him "if I was suppose to start this business to help people, I will need a house" and in 2 hours we had the phone call stating we got our first house. It was a week prior we looked at the house and never even put a bid on the house due to the price. God provided this business to me to help you.
