1 bedroom basement apartment with full living quarters! Full living room...full-sized kitchen...full laundry room. And best of all...it is located on the lake!! Also has dock where you can tie-up instead of taking boat out each evening. Please note the dock is not available during the winter pool months.

Great Option for Anglers Fishing Chickamauga

Wonderful option for anglers who want to be on Chickamauga and near the Dayton Boat Launch. The apartment was very clean. Great location just 5 minutes from the launch. Communication with homeowner was excellent. We can’t wait to return to Chickamauga!

A nice lake house apartment and well worth the money

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was great and the place was decorated and stocked with obvious care. We brought our SeaDoo and were able to use the dock to keep the ski when not riding. There’s a boat ramp right down from the house. The host, Brent, responded quickly for anything we needed. The house is a little secluded from restaurants and stores, making this place a perfect lake getaway. If we decide to visit the area again, we will definitely check to see if this place is available first.

Great place to stay

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our mini vacation! The place was clean and had everything we needed on hand plus extras like beach towels and coffee which we greatly appreciated. The host was so hospitable, and we will definitely book another stay soon.

Wonderful Property and Owners

This property had everything we needed and more. The place was extremely clean and obviously new. It was decorated very tastefully and made us feel welcome. We would not hesitate to rent from these folks again.

We came for a weekend fishing trip. The water was still low, but we knew it would be. We found several ramps that were available within 30 minutes both north and south of this property. We had no trouble parking our boat in their driveway, and the private entrance and view was beautiful and relaxing. We had a great time!!

2 night breather

Weren't able to meet owner Brent, but check-in graciously handled by very polite daughter. Inside was very well maintained/clean, with all necessary bath and kitchen items. Lower level of house, mostly quiet aside from when dog(s) were alerted, but not an issue as we are familiar with that "response" as fellow dog owners. Only reason for 4/5 on cleanliness was outside porch needed cleaning, ie, bird droppings beneath fan which also could have used a cleaning. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay, though owner could have provided more cooperative fish; beautiful sunrise view off dock. . .Thank you.

Great Place

We visited for a fishing tournament. Great place to stay. Had plenty of room for us (3 adults) to spread out. We brought groceries and used the awesome kitchen space. The water level was low, so was difficult to get boat to and off dock, but we managed. Understand this isn’t in the owners control. But something to know if you’re bringing a boat in the winter months. It’s only going to get lower until spring time. Looking forward to spring time, when we will stay again. Price was great for the space. Great communication back and forth. Easy check in and out.

Fishing trip

We had a great week fishing. This is the perfect location to stay at with a dock right on the water and great backyard area to sit outside at night

Beautiful location, clean, easy access

Easy checkin, bass fisherman friendly with easy access for trailer parking and power. Will be staying here again. Host has good communication and very quick with reply’s to any questions or issues. Will be staying here again for sure!!

Our favorite VRBO!

We have stayed at several VRBO’s across the state and this is our favorite. We were in Dayton for our daughter’s basketball tournament and were fortunate to stay here the past two years. Such a lovely apartment that is very nicely equipped with anything you might need. The location is just 10-15 minutes from town, restaurants, etc. and 20 minutes from the tournament location. The owners are very nice and helpful.

Wonderful place to stay right on the lake! We didn't spend much time at the apartment but it was extremely clean, well stocked with anything you may need. The bed was very comfortable too! Beautiful sunrise right outside the door! Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Father/Son Fishing trip

Absolutely perfect for small family with or without boat wanting to spend time at the lake. Cool garage door window, lower level walk-out very convenient. Boat ramp 0.6 miles away perfect. Will stay again. Thanks!!

Sweet Get-Away!

Really great place! Highly recommend!

I give honest and detailed reviews because I also rely on these reviews when I make my rental choices! Pros: Home is in a quiet, newer upscale neighborhood on a great (and quiet) part of the lake with a beautiful view of the lake! Owner let us use his dock for our rented pontoon. The apartment is below owners house with a walkout covered patio. We heard minimal noise from upstairs. It was very quiet and peaceful. The apartment is decorated super cute, everything is very new, and was perfect for the two of us. Large flat screen TVs in the living area and in the bedroom. Although the view outside is so pretty we did not watch TV at all! The kitchen is large, looks toward the lake and is well stocked with everything you need. All of the dishes, pans, utensils, paper towel, dish soap....no need to bring anything! And appliances were new. We don't drink coffee but there was a Keurig coffee maker stocked with coffee. No toaster but we used the broiler in the oven. Washer and dryer in the laundry room which was also stocked with laundry soap and bleach. Everything is updated and new. The bed was a super comfortable tempurpedic! Bedroom is very large. We spent a lot of time on the patio just relaxing and enjoying the view. Lots of birds, fish jumping, beautiful storms in the distance, and a blue heron that hung out on all of the docks. This place is very close to the marina where we rented the boat. Easy parking right near the entrance of the place so you don't have to walk far to load and unload your car. The owner is very flexible, accommodating, and helpful. Cons: apparently when no one is there the birds like to swoop underneath the covered patio. The patio was very dirty with bird poop. The outdoor furniture was also had bird poop on it. We cleaned the patio but the furniture was not usable. Fortunately we brought our own chairs so it was no problem. The owner stated they are working on resolving this problem. Overall: I would highly recommend this place! It is one of the nicest places we have stayed in with vrbo. We will definitely come back if traveling to this area. We were not ready to leave when the time was up!
