Enjoy Michigan's beautiful four seasons in this updated cottage home located close to Lake Superior and the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. *VRBO details this property 'on the lake' but it is across the road from Lake Superior.

Featuring 3 bedrooms, you will have plenty of space to rest after your outdoor adventures. Large primary bedroom outfitted with flat screen TV with Roku. Kids will love the bedroom with twin-over-full bunk beds.

Relax in the spacious living room featuring a flat screen SMART TV.

Open clean kitchen offers dining table and seating, full fridge and stove/oven.

Full bathroom with tub/shower combo is bright and newly updated.
Fire pit and gas grill. Skiers and Snowmobilers, rest assured the house has room for your gear!
Large entryway with locker hooks for hanging. Large parking area available for trailers and snowmobiles. Access to local snowmobile trails are 5 miles in either direction from the cottage, and would require trailering.

We had a great multi-day stay near at Porcupine Place. The home was clean, well appointed and the location was fantastic. The owners were on top of everything. We would definitely come again.

Great property in a great location. It was fantastic that there were good quality pans and knives, which made cooking on site a breeze. The binder with suggestions for the area was super helpful and provided other options we hadn't even considered. Hands down, would stay here again.

Nice location near the Porcupine Mountains. The inside of the house looked like it had been recently renovated, and was very clean and nice. We had a great family trip there.

We had a relaxing weekend at “The Porcupine Place.” It was just enough room for my husband and myself and our two sons who are in their 20’s. We were there for a wedding at Lake in the Clouds overlook in the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. It was beautiful and is a must see. We also went to Green Park which is only a 1/2 mile down the road and walked along Lake Superior. The home was clean, cozy and quiet. I could hear the waves of Lake Superior which was cool. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Our stay at Porcupine Place went very well. Instructions on how to get in was easy. They have a big binder that has other instructions plus detailed brochures on things to do in the areas with maps. It was very helpful. This house is a good size especially if you have more than 2 people. There is 3 bedrooms, full kitchen, dining room and living room. Limited space in the bathroom but it’s an older house and served our needs. There’s a deck going out the front door with places to enjoy the view. There are a lot of trees (which I love) and you can see the stars clearly if it’s a nice night out. Green park is just down the street and there’s another beach farther down in front of the Citgo. You can look for rocks and Yoopee lites there. This was a good place to have as our base of operations. We went up the Porkies, Old Victoria historic town, Sylvania Wilderness, explored waterfalls, and searched for rocks and yooperlites. Also had great food at Syls, Roxeys and porkies outpost. Used Porcupine Place as our base for hiking the Porcupine Mtn SP and exploring the area. Property was clean, well eqipped, and gave us a good location for the Porkies, Ontanogan, and other sites. We enjoyed our stay.
