Perfect Space for a Family gathering

Really enjoyed this little spot. Rental Management was super nice and helpful. We had a group of 5 staying there, plus added 7 on Xmas day for a family gathering and we had plenty of room and having 2 kitchens was really nice and made everything easier. For what it was priced, this was a super nice place and made our trip so enjoyable. Definitely a recommendation for a winter getaway to get to know the area and just enjoy being with family.

Great House, Close to Boardwalk!

Perfect location for a family wanting to be near the boardwalk but not in the center of it all. The Grand Beach house was clean and spacious. Having 4 bathrooms was ideal! Andrea in the office was so pleasant and helpful! Overall, I would definitely recommend this location! Thank you!

Beach house

We loved the house and the area. However, floors were filthy. After the first day, our feet were very dirty from walking around the house.

Family beach trip

We are three families that booked the trip for a few days. A newborn, a 18mold, a y/o, 3y/o, & 6 year old were with us. The house was big enough so that we all had our own space & if someone’s kid cried in the middle of the night no one else heard it. Pools & courtyard were great. We spent a lot of time swimming & cooking out using the grills on site. Short walk to the beach & boardwalk! Great neighborhood. Andrea the front desk lady was incredible & helped us with everything we needed throughout the week. Can’t wait to book this place again.

Off Season Stay

Overall the rental was perfect for my group. Two floors with two kitchens and plenty of beds all worth the price of the stay. A few improvements I hope to see the next time I stay include cleaner showers (soap scum on doors and walls), fixed bathroom fan in 2nd floor bathroom (incredibly noisy, could not be used late at night), multiple bathroom doors do not close fully/cannot be locked for privacy, remote for second floor living room TV is falling apart and does not control the TV volume, and various wall outlets did not work. Additionally at least one bed needs a new box spring (second floor right bedroom) it is caved in and caused me and my partner to roll to the middle of the mattress which reduced the quality of our sleep. Be sure to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags as what is provided is not sufficient. Pools are clean and nice but not ideal for off season use as they were freezing during our stay. There was plenty of street parking and a small lot for us to use so we never had issues with finding a spot.

Perfect Vacation Home

This place rocks! It combines the privacy and space of a private house with the benefits of a community. Andrea was super helpful, the pools were good, laundry, bbq, parking. We liked the trip more than the. One we took last year to Beaches at Turks and Caicos! We’ll definitely be going back!

Short but sweet

Wonderful location and house was perfect for my group of 14… we enjoyed it… one suggestion would be to put hook on the bathroom or bedroom doors for hanging towels… other than that all was wonderful

overall a good stay, but can be improved!

Good location, close to the beach, supermarket and boat rentals. It was a good stay for us, but not a 5 star stay for the below reasons: 1. no towels or linen provided, you can pay extra to get them. We opted for the linen package, but they were delivered to us in bags, and we had to set them up ourselves, which was a bit unexpected. Also we had to use the pull out couch, there were no extra sheets provided for that. The linen package included the exact amount for the bedroom beds. I would recommend providing some extra linens so there is enough for the pull-out couches. 2. Bath mats & door mats were not provided. our feet were wet from the pool & beach, and there are no mats to dry them. it was also annoying that there are no bath mats, so bathroom floor was very wet after shower. I didn't realize no towel meant no bath mats as well. If that was communicated earlier we probably would have opted for the towel package. 3. No shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, etc. We are used to rentals providing them so most of us didn't bring. 4. two pools are shared amongst a few rental properties, and 1 pool was cloudy and when I complained, they just said you can use the other pool, that was not very desirable. 5. there were about 5 grills on site, but most of them had rusty racks and not well maintained. luckily we were able to find 2 that were cleaner! 6. the shower heads are fixed and not the handheld ones that are removable, that makes it hard to shower kids. and no hooks in the bathroom to put towels or clothes. 7. would also be nice if there were a full body mirrors in the rooms. 8. in the room we stayed at, the ceiling fan is too close to the bathroom, when we open the bathroom door, it hits the fan, actually quite scary 9. there is staff on-site during check-in process (which is a pro) but during check in, nothing was explained to us, and just a few pieces of paper given to us (good thing i read them). I would have expected the staff to go over some checkout instructions, for example, what time and that the recycle and trash needs to taken out, etc. Most of these aren't deal breakers, just small annoyances that makes the experience not a 5 star one. I decided to leave this review because i think all of the things can be fixed/addressed and it would then make it a better stay for future guests! Management was very responsive and professional during the whole booking process and I would probably recommend the place.

Although the house was clean, the smell of mildew was terrible. We were told we had 2 reserved spots for parking, everyday there was a car parked in one of our spots. There were not enough utensils, i believe there were 3 forks. Not crazy about the area. I would not recommend this house and i will not rent it again. And also when I checked in I was told that I owed money. I was embararassed as there was someone also there. When someone else checked it out she told me it was a mistake. When talking to another person staying there, they were told the same thing. Looks nice in the picture but not nice at all.

Luxury Summer Vacation Rental

My family and I stayed with Lazy River Rentals in July and had a fantastic time. There were 14 of us and we fit comfortably. We had a great time I plan on returning next summer.

Beautiful property and extremely nice management!

We rented this house to celebrate my step-daughter's sweet 16, thinking she would be able to bring a number of her girlfriends down with us. The house is beautiful. Very well maintained. We lucked out with nice weather so the kids (7yo, 8yo, 9yo and three 16 year olds) were able to get in some pool time. And the pool IS heated. We just needed to get someone to turn it on. This 5 bedroom is basically 2 separate apartments, one 3 bedroom on the ground level and one 2 bedroom upstairs, each with their own kitchen, dining area and bathroom. Not to mention pull out couches. There were plenty of plates, cups, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans and grill equipment. Plus a dishwasher (thank goodness!). Wifi and cable included. VERY nice courtyard on the side of the house (there is a side entrance that leads right in to it) with high-top tables/chairs to sit, along with 2 natural gas grills to use. This house is approximately 6 LONG blocks to the beach. You can walk there but be prepared for a considerable walk! There is an A&P not too far of a drive away, and a 7-eleven very close by, which is a rip-off! We took advantage of their concierge service for sheets. They supplied a set of sheets (fitted, flat, pillow cases) for each night we stayed. We did bring our own blankets and towels rather than spend the money renting those. We also took advantage of the ability to check out in the evening rather than in the morning for a small charge. Their management and staff was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. We could not have asked for more, and really have nothing bad to say about our experience. We would definitely do business with Lazy River Rentals again!

This is a unique property that has 5 Bedrooms, 4 full baths, 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens and a private deck overlooking Barnegat Bay and its great sunsets. Just minutes away from the fun and excitement of the Seaside Heights Boardwalk, Water Park, Wave pool and famous beaches. Fireworks every Wednesday night in Town over the Summer.

Single family Home rentals with pools usually start at much higher rates. This property offers two shared pools that offers our guests access to both pools at rates nearly 50% below homes with a private pools. Since Guests prefer the ocean beaches and in Town award winning water park, pools have low occupancy and provides a private setting amongst other nice families and children.
