Welcome to our holiday home "TO THE OLD VILLAGE FOUNTAIN" in Wiarden, a small village in the municipality of Wangerland.
The nearest beaches are 5 minutes away by car in Horumersiel and Hooksiel, but also the bathing lake Wangermeer is reached in 5 minutes by bike.
In Hohenkirchen 2 km away are the nearest shops (Aldi, Lidl, Netto, bakeries, pharmacy).
So if you are looking for peace and quiet, you are in good hands with us.
Our guest house is situated on a 1400 m² plot.
The approximately 300 m² apartment is distributed on the ground floor and an upper floor. Both are connected by a staircase.
It is generously divided. On the ground floor you will find:

2 bedrooms with double beds and attached shower room (apartments); are available for bookings of 14 people or more

In the garden is the historic village fountain from 1829. Until 1938 it was used as a public village well.

Wir waren zu einem langen Familienwochende da. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und immer ansprechbar . Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt . Die Ausstattung der Zimmer war gut , Küche sehr gut eingerichtet , es war alles da was man für viele Personen benötigt . Das Esszimmer mit angrenzenden Wohnzimmer war für uns perfekt . An dem langen Tischen konnte gut gegessen und gespiellt werden . Die Betten waren bequem . Es gab viele Duschen und Toiletten. Für uns als große Gruppe im Alter von 3 -87 Jahren war das Haus perfekt. Danke für den schönen Kurzurlaub.

Ferienwohnung „Zum alten Dorfbrunnen“ in Wiarden.

Es ist mir unbegreiflich, warum dieses Objekt als Premiumpartner mit 4 Sternen bewertet ist. Ich habe kein Vertrauen mehr in Fewo direkt. Der einzige Aspekt dieses Haus zu mieten ist die Größe. Wenn die Gäste keine Ansprüche an ordentlichen Handtüchern, Bettwäsche und etwas Gemütlichkeit haben, mögen sie sich ja gut aufgehoben fühlen. Zusammengewürfelte Möbel, elektrische Installationen mit abgeklebten Schaltern, mit Kabelbindern befestigte Außenlampen, knarrende Fußböden und Treppe mit uraltem Teppichboden, total abgewrackte Markise, Verbote und Androhungen von Strafen (z.B. 15 € für das Ausräumen des Geschirrspülers; wie soll das gehen bei 10 Uhr Abreise) - all das hat uns sehr gestört. Insgesamt entsprechen die Fotos im Portal nicht der aktuellen Situation. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht akzeptabel. Gern hätte ich eine Emailadresse um entsprechende Fotos zu schicken. Alles super! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Haus ist perfekt für eine Gruppe. Es steht genügend Platz für alles zur Verfügung. Vor allem die Küche bietet ausreichend Platz, um auch für mehrere Personen kochen zu können. Die Lage ist top. Egal wo man hin will, es ist alles schnell erreichbar. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und helfen bei Fragen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Unterkunft.

Besser als erwartet!

Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht von dem Haus, denn in echt sah es noch viel größer und besser aus als auf den Bildern! Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, haben immer schnell geantwortet und haben uns gute Tipps für die Umgebung geben können. Alles in einem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Frauenwochenende in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir , 12 Frauen, haben ein wunderschönes Wochenende dort verbracht. Die Räumlichkeiten sind echt super. Ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten und auch die Schlaf - und Badezimmer waren in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne noch mal wieder.

Hallo, wir waren Ende November mit 18 Erwachsene von Freitag bis Sonntag in der Ferienwohnung, Herr und Frau Schäfer waren sehr nett und Hilfsbereit. Die Küche hatte eine gute Ausstattung (alles was man braucht ist vor Ort), die Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer waren sehr sauber, Wohnzimmer und Aufenthaltsraum sind sehr großzügig (man kann ohne weiteres sich mit bis zu 24 Personen) darin aufhalten. Wir würden immer wieder diese Ferienwohnung für eine größere Gruppe mieten. Gruß J.Cordes

Ordentliche große Ferienwohnung mit viel Platz im Haus und im Garten

Wir waren mit 9 Personen, benötigten 6 Schlafzimmer und dementsprechend Bäder. Dafür ist das Haus genau richtig. Für unser gemeinsames Kochen hatten wir eine schöne Küche, die alles hat, was man braucht. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr angenehm. Rundum waren wir sehr zufrieden, kommen sicherlich wieder. Luxus in Form von Gold und Schnickschnack gibt es nicht, aber wer braucht das schon.

Das Haus verfügt alles was man für eine große Gruppe benötigt. Die zahlreichen Bäder waren teils neu renoviert . Die Lage ist optimal für Familien die das Ländliche Umgebung lieben. Man ist auch in ein paar Minuten an der Nordsee.Etwas gewöhnen mussten wir uns an den Weckservice der Kirche neben an. Dafür waren alle spätestens um 8 Uhr wach und der Tag konnte starten:-)

Wir waren rundum zufrieden

Ein schönes, sauberes, großes Haus. Genau passend für größere Gruppen. Die Kommunikation vorher und bei Check In hat super geklappt. Gute, bequeme Betten, Küche gut ausgestattet. Uns als Familie hat es sehr gut gefallen. Können es nur weiterempfehlen! Bis zum Meer müsste man fahren, aber das wussten wir vorher schon. Paar Kilometer weiter gibt's ein tolles Spielland für Kinder, falls das Wetter mal nicht so mitspielt. Sonst gibts direkt gegenüber ein Spielplatz. Nur wurden wir einmal von Nachbarn (wahrscheinlich auch ein Feriengast wie wir ) um 22.30 Uhr ermahnt, leiser zu sein (Haben mit den Kindern Wickinger Schach gespielt). Aber haben dann einfach aufgehört zu spielen und damit war es erledigt. Ansonsten super, netter, toller Aufenthalt.

Viel Platz und weiter Blick

Das Haus war für unsere Zwecke - 11 Freunde haben 4 Tage lang diverse Gesellschaftsspiele gespielt und die Gegend erkundet - perfekt geeignet. Hinreichend Platz für alle und große Tische zum Spielen. Luxus bietet das Haus nicht, aber das hatten wir bei dem Preis auch nicht erwartet. Alles was wir brauchten, inklusive großer Töpfe für die Verpflegung zwischen den Spielen war da.
