The house was beautiful, spacious and clean! The host communicated with us about the house and our stay and was very attentive. The only thing that I misunderstood is that it is near the ocean but not close to a beach, which was my mistake. I would stay there again!!

Well appointed home made for a great girls weekend

We had a great weekend! The photos accurately depict this rental property. We enjoyed the pool, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had just about every item needed. The only con is that the house is very close to the airport so there is quite a bit of air traffic at certain times of day. We got u it. it.

Thanks so much for the great review! We're happy to hear you had a wonderful weekend and that the home, pool, beds, and kitchen setup all met your expectations. You're right about the nearby airport—it's something we note in the listing, and while it brings some air traffic, it also places the home in one of the few areas in Sarasota where short-term rentals are fully permitted. We’re glad it didn’t take away from your stay! We appreciate you being great guests and would love to welcome you back anytime.

Our family and friends from Ireland stayed at this wonderful home for a week in April 2026. This house was perfect. The check in process was easy. The hosts were very responsive with all my inquiries and recommended local hot spots to try. They were amazing hosts. The home was well stocked with all the essentials one will need to feel at home when away from home. The added bonus was towels and paper products were included. The house is immaculate as was the pool. It is a short drive to Saint Armands Circle that have shops and restaurants. Siesta Key Beach is also a short drive from the home and it is a stunning beach. The owners of this home clearly take great pride in their home because every detail to have an enjoyable vacation is thought of. The home is spacious and very well maintained. It is set in a quiet neighborhood a short walk to the water in a nearby neighborhood. We had an amazing vacation staying here and we hope to make this our go to home for future visits to Sarasota. Many thanks to Laise for allowing us to rent this beautiful home and for all your recommendations on restaurants and beaches.

Perfect getaway

Traveled from Cali for a family reunion. This home easily accommodated 4 adults and 8 kids. The house was clean and well stocked. Although I wished it had the cooking staples such as salt, pepper, sugar ect. The pool was a hit with the kids. They spent early mornings and late evening swimming. I did appreciate the well stocked beach supplies in the garage. Near Lido and Siesta Key beach with a short drive. Which was a plus. Overall, our family was not disappointed. Will definitely consider coming back next time in Florida!

Beautiful home

House is beautiful!! Juliano & Laise went above and beyond in stocking extras for guests arrival. There was a large basket of goodies, fully stocked coffee bar, toiletries in all the bathrooms. House is very clean. Plenty of space for our family of 5. We were there for my daughter’s wedding 10/6/24. Unfortunately, we had to evacuate a day early due to Hurricane Milton. Julia o & Laise were very easy to work with and accommodating to us with everything.

Florida family vacation

We were disappointed on the fact that we thought the beach was 2 blocks from this vrbo when in reality there is no beach only the ocean. So your still driving to a beach area maybe that was our misunderstanding. We also had issues with items not available from the sheets for the pull out couch bed to the soap for the dishwasher. We had to message the host and wait for a response. The vrbo was nice and clean, but don’t expect to have any extras in the kitchen like spices, oil etc. We loved the pool and our family had a great time, but just a few issues.

Ideal Property for Family Get-Together

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cozy Coastal Farmhouse. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The attention to detail from the décor to the updated amenities really sets this property apart. Every room is comfortable and inviting, and the three full bathrooms meant there was never a wait. This spacious home was ideal for our family gathering. The weather gods smiled on us, allowing us to hang out on the lanai and in the refreshing, heated pool. The kitchen is perfect for family meals and stocked with every appliance you might need. We loved cooking and then eating all together in the ample dining area. The neighborhood itself is quiet and family-friendly, adding to the overall charm of the stay. It's a lovely area to stroll around, and with the ocean view just at the street corner, it made morning walks a delightful treat!Overall, our experience at the Cozy Coastal Farmhouse exceeded all expectations. Whether you're planning a family reunion or just a vacation with friends, I highly recommend this wonderful home.

Perfect home for multiple families

This beautiful home was absolutely perfect for our family getaway! 2 families with kids, 5, 4 and 1 1/2. It truly felt so welcoming, a home away from home: Much time was spent in the heated pool. (Upon request) stress was easily taken away knowing that our 5 year old could reach the bottom of the pool throughout. Our 1 1/2 year old boy enjoyed watching the planes fly overhead! I know some people have complained about the airplanes but we thought it was pretty cool to see! Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. If you walk to the stop sign you can see the water, take a little walk towards the water and watch the sunset. The owners did a wonderful job keeping necessities handy, supplies for a family with kiddos like a height chair, pack and play and baby swing. we also tried our first espresso shot with their machine! Very truly happy with our stay and we are already talking about coming back again. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that your families had such a wonderful stay and felt right at home. It means a lot to us that the space felt welcoming and family-friendly—especially with little ones in tow! We’re so glad the heated pool brought joy and peace of mind, and how fun that your toddler enjoyed watching the planes! We love your perspective on that—it’s a unique little touch of the area, and we’re happy it added to your experience. Thank you also for noticing the small details—we do our best to provide everything families might need, from baby gear to that first espresso shot! ☕️ We also appreciate your understanding of the location. This neighborhood is actually the only area in Sarasota where short-term rentals are fully permitted without minimum stay restrictions, which is one of the reasons we chose it. We proudly follow all local rules and regulations to ensure a safe, legal, and welcoming experience for every guest. We’d be honored to host you all again—your return would truly mean the world to us. Until next time! 🌴💛 Warmly, Juliano & Laise

Clean, well stocked house

My husband and I had a home we rented on VRBO in Nokomis that we recently sold. This was our first time back to the area for a Celebration of Life for my father. We had high expectations and were not disappointed. We got in late and had a couple issues that were resolved quickly after speaking with Juliano. He was very attentive and responsive. The house was well appointed. The location gave us easy access to Lido beach and the close proximity to the airport was convenient as our son flew in for the weekend and my aunt and uncle flew in for the week. The layout worked well for the five of us, giving everyone their own space. The beach chairs were appreciated and having separate beach towels for the pool was a nice touch. I read a review about the planes and yes, when outside in the pool it is loud but only for a brief few moments. Inside it was not noticeable. The flights were not during the night, last being around 11pm. It wasn't an issue for any of us. When we come back to Sarasota we will definitely see if the house is available!

We always aim to be as responsive and helpful as possible, especially when guests are arriving after a long day. We’re thrilled the layout worked well for your family, and that the beach chairs, towels, and location all added to your comfort and convenience. Thank you also for your balanced note about the planes—it’s true that this area offers such great proximity to everything (including the airport), and we’re glad it didn’t impact your overall experience. We would love to welcome you back any time you’re visiting Sarasota again. It would be a true pleasure to host you! Warmly, Juliano

Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about us! My name is Laise Moreira. I'm a Plant Engineer, finalizing my P.h.D in plant genetics with a focus on grapes. I LOVE beach and nature, in fact, I got married on a small island in Brazil near Salvador, BA. I love flowers, grapes, and nature. Juliano, my husband, is a product designer/engineer who enjoys solving problems.

My husband and I were both born in Brazil; I was born on a small island in Bahia, so my passion for beach and waves is undeniable, hence our home in Sarasota, FL. We enjoy meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and more importantly hosting families. We're very respectful, friendly, and responsive. Our goal is for you to have a memorable stay, we’ve worked very hard to create a delightful experience. We very much believe in VRBO's mission and I hope that you leave our home with the sentiment of joy, and craving to come back. Thank you for being our guest!
