Ocean View & Canal Access Home with Jacuzzi

A beautifully decorated home situated perfectly to enjoy an endless ocean view can be your own private paradise. This serene, tropical home features 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Enjoy an ocean view during every meal, relaxing in the living room, and while soaking in the outdoor whirlpool Spa. Traffic is little to none as the street is used by only a few residents and is the last street before the water. The other houses on the canal tend to keep to themselves and are very laid-back. The “beach-like” area across the street from the house is available exclusively to guests. The house features a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the second bedroom. There is also a pullout with a surprisingly comfortable mattress in the living room. Due to the sleeping accommodations, we limit the house to 6 guests maximum.

For those who like to spend more time outdoors, there is a lounge area downstairs with a TV and comfortable seating. A windscreen has been installed to ensure private and peaceful lounging even during the windiest of days or nights.

The water in the front of the house is shallow and therefore ideal for leisure kayak/paddle boarding as well as fishing for tarpon, bonefish, etc. Kayaks can be made available upon request for a fee to be discussed with owner.

For boaters, this property has 45' of dock space on a canal and is the 8th house in from open ocean access. Minutes from Vaca Cut, the Gulf is also very easily accessible. The "beach like" area in front of the house can be utilized as trailer parking as long as the trailer stays clear of the road. Please discuss with the owner fees and advice associated with bringing a boat/trailer.

Beautiful home beautiful location friendly neighbors. This house has everything you need and I mean everything for a trip to the Florida Keys. Its central location makes visiting all the wonderful things to do and see a breeze. The sun rises in front of the home and makes your morning coffee breath taking. You can fish for mangrove snapper right in the canal, you can bonefish in the flats out front.

Really nice place. Lock on front door didn't work well and had a bit of an issue with one toilet but, overall, a really nice place with some of the best views in town.

Spectacular double waterfront property

My family had a fantastic stay at Ryan's property. The house was clean and nicely decorated, and we were able to rent a boat and dock it right by the house. Ryan was very quick to respond when I had some questions. It was an awesome location with both canal frontage and ocean frontage on a quiet street near the Marathon airport. If the fish weren't biting on the canal side - just go to the other side! Our kids (4, 7 and 10) had a great time fishing and caught mangrove snapper, yellowfin mojarre and a handful of other small fish. We also spotted manatees, nurse sharks, iguanas and lots of birds right by the house. There was no shortage of things to do and spots to relax right at the house and we cooked nearly every meal there, but if you do want to leave, the house was centrally located in Marathon, about 20 minutes to Bahia Honda (our favorite beach) and just over an hour to Key West. We had an amazing time and I wouldnt hesitate to book this property again if we come back to the Keys.

Everything we hoped for and more.

If I could give this more than 5's I would. The view out the front and back were both beautiful and relaxing. The pictures are exactly right. Ryan has the place nicely furnished and all the right pots, pans, utensils and starter packs of coffee, etc. Everything worked great. Ryan was easy to work with and I think genuinely enjoyed hearing about how we used the house. At the last minute we had another couple who are friends of ours come down and the place was plenty big for all 4 of us. Although we mostly stayed upstairs, one morning I went down and had coffee on the deck on the canal side and it was very relaxing. There was a huge rain and thunder and lightening storm one day and no draftiness or wetness where it shouldn't be. There was also a downstairs room with TV and couch that was very comfortable and open. The view from the bed in the master bedroom was out the inlet all the way into the Gulf. There are 2 groceries near by and the restaurant Island Fish is terrific. For breakfast just down the street is Mile 7 Grill, (there are a bunch named nearly the same) but this on is on the right hand side just a little bit before you get on the 7 mile bridge. I highly recommend this place. Just make sure you can get up the stairs (we are 71 and 57 years old and I (71)have some issues but still was able to make it up fine.

The home was in a great location - beautiful open water views as well as a deck and patio on the canal side. Close to all the activities in marathon and half way to key west. Well kept with great amenities and very comfortable beds. We had issues with the air conditioning during our stay and the host responded immediately and got AC techs out right away to diagnosis and fix the problem.

We will be back!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was updated/decorated like an HGTV reveal home. Modern, beautiful, comfortable, and very spacious. Communication with owner was great. It had everything we needed. I especially liked the outdoor seating. One area overlooked the canal and the other overlooked the Gulf. Very relaxing. Very quiet street. There are a couple grocery stores close by, nice restaurants, and lots to do. We’ve been to the Keys many times and this is by far the nicest place we’ve stayed at.

Great place to stay. Pictures don’t do it justice. The home was beautiful and perfectly outfitted. The whole process couldn’t have been easier. We brought our 23 ft bay boat and parked the trailer right out front. Everything was perfectly clean and the outside lower level was awesome. Hot tub, TV, and filet station!!!

Great location!

This property is great! There is a water view from the front and the back. There is ample and comfortable seating both inside and out. We did not use the hot tub so I can't comment on that. The house was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen has just what you need. Ryan was really easy to work with. The location is great. Only an hour from Key West and twice the room and half the cost of what you'd pay there. Highly recommend staying here!

Excellent place for keeping boat, easy access to water

This is an excellent place for those looking to bring their boat, docking at the back door made it quick and easy to head out for fishing, come back swap out for snorkeling and be back on the water in 10 min. House was clean, plenty of seating and outdoor seating as well. Host responded very quickly to questions and was very helpful.

Great location, awesome beautiful set up!

We took a risk on renting this amazing place, as we were worried with it not having any reviews, since we were were 1st renters... The owner was more than willing to help prove its legitimacy. The home is well set up, lots of space & seating. All modern, light decor. Music was playing when we arrived, all the details were amazing....family games, beach towels, awesome outdoor space, hot tub, etc. Beautiful water views all around entire property, nice neighbors. We rented kayaks and enjoyed going around all the canals and outlet. We also rented a boat, great dockage space at this home and close to good snorkeling, Sombrero Beach & Vaca Cut. Be sure to check satellite & tides for getting in/out of boat channel as its very shallow at times. We greatly enjoyed our stay & were sad to leave...thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!
