Great spot to be based out of for a several day fishing trip. The fish processing station and access to freezer/vac sealers huge bonus! Interior of cabin was very nice and clean. Would stay here again for sure.

A kurig would have been nice. Found the outdoor surveillance cameras a little off putting. Neighbors are pretty close on both sides which isnt pictured well. Liked that there was fire wood and fishing poles on site. Expect to have to rig the poles when you show up for the fish that are running.

Thank you for staying with us and for your feedback. We’d like to clarify a few items for future guests. Our listing states that the cabin has a standard coffee maker; a Keurig is not an advertised amenity. The exterior security cameras are also disclosed in our property information and are outside only. The cabin sits on a one-acre parcel with a rental cabin to the east and a privately used cabin to the west that is occupied only occasionally. We do our best to accurately represent the property in our listing. We provide two types of fishing poles as a complimentary convenience, but not tackle, since guests need to rig them according to the species running at the time. We also provide a fish-cleaning table, processing shed, freezers, sink and vacuum sealers for our fishing guests. We were happy to offer an early check-in and unlimited use of the complimentary firewood. We appreciate you choosing our cabin and are glad you enjoyed those amenities during your stay. Thanks, Mark

Great stay

The cabin is very nice and cozy. Having the river behind was nice, I just didn't plan it good with when the salmon runs in the Kenai River.

Fantastic Stay!

Mark’s cabin was perfect for our Alaskan adventure. Clean, quiet, close enough but away from the crowds. Communication was excellent, fishing was great. Would highly recommend!

50th Birthday Trip

Cabin was clean, had everything we needed and so close to the river, weather was perfect when we stayed during the last week of August, but the fishing had slowed down, wish we came a few weeks earlier.

Salmon. Retreat

Kenai river cabin

Mark’s cabin was clean, comfortable and conveniently located close to town. Plenty of room on the dock for our family of four to fish and relax. The sockeye fishing was excellent and the processing shed

A blast on the Kenai River

Beautiful property right on the Kenai River had all the comforts of home even a separate area for cleaning our fish and freezers to put them in. Would definitely recommend this amazing place. The fishing was awesome! We will be back!

Soldotna summer

The cabin is clean and well appointed. Ideal location for fishing and day trips. Close to town but not too close. The owner provided fishing tackle so fishing off the docks was so easy. Marc was easily reached to answer questions and make recommendations. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
