Great kid friendly location

Very close to pools and beach. Nice garden area for the kids to play in. Don't really have anything bad to say.

The unit was clean & modern, newer furniture was simple but comfortable. The king size bed was wonderful but 100% polyester sheets were a disappointment. Especially as there was no air conditioning unit in the bedroom. The main unit in the living room is old and not particularly efficient, so an upgrade is definitely something to consider

Fantastic location, well stocked condo/kitchen. Beds comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Tow small issue the floor was very dirty when we arrived, and I was never sent the door code and had to wait for a response.

Great Vacation Place

It is a beautiful place and great location the only down side was that the cleaning was terrible. The administrator did his best but the cleaning service was still bad.

Best things about the unit were location within the complex, features of the unit and complex as well as location within Kihei. Super convenient and a pleasing unit in that way. The unit looks good I gave this unit 3 stars, in spite of the fact that it was pretty much as described because of the following: Window AC in LR is too noisy to run at night and insufficient to cool into BR's in any event. This element was tolerable for us, but for many it would be very disappointing. King bed is very soft and to us, uncomfortable. Several maintenance items that reflected badly on the place but did not make our stay difficult enough to warrant putting up with "corrections" being done while we were there. When you are paying top dollar, or what feels like top dollar, 4-5 stars must be earned and this fell short.

Perfect for families

We came to Maui on a 2 week family vacation with three kids ages 8, 10, 12. Condo was clean, well stocked and a fantastic location. This unit has a lovely view of the grounds and ocean! Very safe and quiet. Pool is close but far enough that you don’t get the noise in the evening. Check in was easy and management team checked in by text regularly to see if we needed anything. Would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent stay

Not only was the location excellent, the convenience of a ground floor unit was hard to beat. The AC is only in the main living space, but by using fans to push cold air into the bedrooms at night, we slept really well even with the heat! The unit is fully stocked including everything you could possibly need for the beach and pool. We will absolutely look for this unit when we come back. Highly recommended. We stayed with my wife, mother in law and 16 month old daughter

Pro's: location was great, kitchen had lots of pots and pans, was spacious, beds were comfortable. They do provide beach chairs and a couple of boogie boards and a cooler on wheels.Con's: AC was only in the main area and did not work very well, we found it difficult to sleep due to the heat. The ceiling fan in the small bedroom doesn't work. The bathroom fan in the master bedroom doesn't work. Both bathrooms need renovating or updating. The kitchen had no amenities like salt or pepper, no sugar, no tinfoil or plastic wrap. The main bathroom fan in on it's last legs, stops working by the end of your shower. Not a terrible unit but could definitely use some TLC.

Our Maui stay

We stayed here with family for over a week. Location was great - close to beach, pool, shops, etc. Unit had ample kitchen supplies and we really enjoyed staying here. The only drawback is that there is only one air conditioning unit in the living room and there is a timer on it to turn off in 4 hrs. Wish there were individual units in each bedroom as well. Otherwise, very comfortable staying here. Owners very responsive and got back to us immediately.

Amazing stay in this beautiful condo!

We had a wonderful holiday in the condo from start to finish. While the check- in is typically 4 pm, we got a text stating the suite was ready at about 2:30 pm … we were so appreciative to be able to get groceries in fridge, etc. We were accommodated again on the departure which made all the difference to the enjoyment of our trip. The condo was outfitted with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Being on the ground floor was the best for enjoying the bbq, birds and coming and going to the pool with a senior. We have stayed at Kamaole several times over the years and this condo was awesome. Maholo!

Delightful condo

We were so pleased with your condo. It could not have be sweeter. It has lovely decor and was comfortable. The beds were great, the kitchen well stocked and all appliances in perfect working order. The grounds of Kamole Sands are beautiful. Across from the condo was best snorkeling beach that we found. We and our grandsons loved the ocean swimming, the pool and the tennis courts. Could’ve used a deep clean of things like the baseboards and fans but overall was set up well. Great access to the grounds for early mornings outside. Supplied outdoor furniture and good beach chairs and umbrella and some sand toys. Coordinated with a local baby rental company and our baby items were in the condo ready to go when we arrived which was very convenient. Best part was the location. Very close to parking (convenient with loading up lots of stuff for kids). Very close to outdoor grill. Easy walk to the pool and the beach. Lots of space for 4 adults and 2 kids

Wonderful!

We loved so many things: the location, the layout of the unit, the patio, the melamine dishes that we could bring outside! We did wish the kitchen had better and more pots, pans and utensils. Only two kitchen towels, and no cleaning supplies except a broom. And the bedding was sub-par.

Amazing stay at the Kamaole Sands

We loved our week long stay at the Kamaole Sands!! Our was six people (2 grandparents, 2 adults and 2 kids (6 and 4 years)) and the unit had more than enough space. The unit is recently renovated and the decor is very tastefully done. The unit is also well stocked and has everything you need to comfortably cook, relax and enjoy. We loved the location of the unit too on the ground floor. Perfect for the kiddos to run out on the lawn in the mornings and evenings. It was also just a short 2 min walk to the Kam III beach which was perfect. Lots of other great amenities at the Kamaole Sands property; pool, baby pool, kids hot tub, adults hot tub, exercise facility, BBQ and picnic spots, tennis, etc. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for the amazing stay!

One of the Most Beautiful Condos in Kamaole Sands

This was our family’s 7th time in Maui staying at Kamaole Sands. We all agreed that this by far was the most tastefully decorated and well supplied kitchen condo that we have rented. It was the perfect location for our 4 grandkids to play on the beautiful grounds. Our 3 year old grandson is autistic and has mobility issues and accidentally broke a lamp and the TV which was on a credenza. We had taken out property damage insurance and the host was so helpful to replace the items. My daughter was so grateful for their quick response. We hope to rent this unit again next year since it was so lovely. We love Maui!

The property needs a deep clean; the baseboards are dirty and the kitchen cupboard under the sink. We did get ants but did agree for them to spray. The outdoor storage needs a big clean. There were not 6 glasses of 2 styles as well as short on red wine stems. Some of the frying pans needed replacing as well as a beach chair. This was all conveyed to the managing property. Overall, the unit was ideal for our situation.

Beautiful Condo and Property

We stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed the condo. It was modern, updated, the beds were comfortable and the unit was on the bottom floor with a porch that leads out to the walking path. It wasn't near a noisy elevator and is an end unit so quieter than most I would say. You can get a small peak at the ocean from part of the porch. You can see the large fountains and bridge from the porch. It was very comfortable and bright. I would recommend it and would stay there again. Across the street is a park and beyond it a beach with a lot of turtles that eat off the rocks. We snorkeled at the beach across the street as it seemed to be a good snorkeling spot. Lifeguards were present which made me feel better as I have a young inexperienced swimmer. The condo is very close to food, stores, rental shops. You can easily walk 5 minutes to get something to eat. The grounds are well kept, everything was beautiful. There is a large pool, a kid pool and 2 hot tubs. One of the boat docks to go out on boating activities is a 2 minute drive up the street. Overall good location and nice condo. There wasn't a TV in the room with the twin beds, although it is listed in the description as having one, which is why I gave the 4 starts on accuracy of online listing. Hopefully they either get the third TV or remove that from the info. But, highly recommend anyway.

Lovely stay in Kihei

Perfect stay for our first family trip to Maui. The condo was super nice, clean and in a perfect location right across from amazing beaches. Beds were super comfy and kitchen was great to cook in.

HOUSE RULES
• Must be over the age of 25 to rent unit and check-in.
• Check in/Arrival time 4pm
• Check out/Departure time 10am
• Quiet Times: 10:00pm to 8:00am
• This unit is a non-smoking unit. Smoking is not allowed, never on the lanai.
• Park in designated spots or areas noted in arrival instructions. Resorts will charge additional fees and tow vehicle at guest's expense.
• NO items can be left on the lanai. This includes, but not limited, to beach chairs, towels and coolers.
• Please be advised that the use of spray sunscreen and tanning oil products inside the condo and on the lanai is strictly prohibited.
• Please help save our beaches. Be sure to shake off extra sand before entering the condo.
• Cleaning: Each property will be cleaned and inspected after your departure. We ask you to help us enable the cleaning crews as much as possible. Simple things like leaving the property tidy, running the dishwasher, starting to wash the towels, and taking out the trash are expected of our guests. If excessive wear and tear is found on the property, or additional cleaning is necessary due to spills, trash left on site, unclean dishes, stains to furniture, carpeting, linens, paint, wallpaper, or flooring, Guest authorizes the Owner to bill them for additional fees.
