Sits on a tidal lake property. Property includes two King bedrooms with en suite, bunk room with two sets of full over queen bunks and attached full bathroom with barrier free shower/ bench, sink accessible with wheelchair.
House has radiant heated floors throughout. We ask you not to wear shoes in the house, bring slippers.
A relaxing spa like STEAM ROOM.
Kitchen is well stocked, plenty of utensils ,knives, place settings, plastic plates and glasses for children, mixing bowls, Cuisinart, blender, slow cooker, steamer, KitchenAid mixer, coffee/teapot, French press. Coffee grinder , Double ovens. Toaster oven, rice cooker.
There is no cell service in Tierra del Mar proper, we have Spectrum WiFi for streaming on the Smart TV's and WiFi calling capabilities on cell phones. Just turn on wifi calling on your cellphones.
Blue tooth Sonos Sound system.
Bring your kayaks, paddle boards or rent in Pacific City 3 miles south, Nestucca Adventures . Wetsuits and surf boards at Moment Surf Co.
A short paddle across the lake to Whalen Island, or 3 min. drive to explore. Many paddle and kayak adventures, the Nestucca river along Pacific City , the Salmon river is south of Pacific City which flows to the ocean at the base of Cascade Head, also a great hike.

There are many hikes nearby or step outside your door and walk along to adjacent Sitka Sedge Natural area for many trails to the ocean, overlook the bay and see numerous wildlife.
The lake is tidal, there is a current tide table in the guest book , or tides.net/Oregon/Nestucca Bay.
Also at Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City enjoy tide pools, Dory boat launching, and award winning restaurants, Pelican Brewery and the Grateful Bread.
13 miles south is the small hamlet of Neskowin, beautiful Art and the
Cafe on Hawk Creek , great menu and fabulous pizza.
30 minutes south is LIncoln City and outlet malls, Kite Flying and Barnacle Bills with great locally caught seafood and some of the best smoked salmon.
The community in Lincoln City also hides handblown glass floats on the beaches year round.
21 miles north in Tillamook is the Tillamook creamery with amazing ice cream and Tillamook cheese.
Also south of Tillamook is the Tillamook Aviation Museum housed in a blimp hangar, the largest clear span wooden structure in the world.
We use a keyless entry, we will provide you with a 4 digit code before check in.
Please adhere to the 8 MAXIMUM (county permit) overnight guests.
We offer an allergy free home. No Pets, no therapy dogs, no smoking.

This is a beautiful home with a remarkable view. It had everything one would need to make a lovely dinner, to relax and be cozy. Very peaceful place. It was perfect for our family of older kids. We would definitely return!

An Absolute Gem

Our stay at this house was nothing short of perfect. The host communicated with us directly well in advance, clearly invested in making our stay enjoyable. The house itself is beautiful and fully equipped with anything you could need, which made preparing meals a breeze. The outdoor space was a true bonus - perfect for relaxing and making smores under the stars without having to go to the beach.Very nice beaches minutes away. Location couldn’t have been better, providing easy access to Pacific City restaurants.We would highly recommend this property to adults and families alike.

Fabulous Place for a Group Getaway

For almost 20 years, our group of 5-7 ladies take a long weekend away. This is the first place we have ever chosen to visit twice. The home is perfect for our needs as we have one person who uses a wheelchair. It is also in a beautiful location with a great layout and fabulous kitchen.

Amazing beach vacation

We loved staying at this house. It is one of the best vrbo we have ever stayed. Views in the morning are amazing. Very close to pacific city. Kitchen is very well equipped. Tons of stuff for the kids to play with. Would highly recommend and would love to come again.

Our new favorite beach getaway!

This was our second stay at this amazing property and it did not disappoint. The cleanliness and beautiful design of the house as well as the view and location makes this our new favorite getaway. We love the large yard and all the outdoor activities provided. Less than a mile walk to the beach or a short drive in to Pacific City. We will definitely make this a recurring place to visit.

Beautiful home with an amazing view

Everything about this home and property was perfect. We came here to spend July 4th weekend. It was just a short drive to Pacific Beach which is where we went to watch fireworks. We really enjoyed everything from the gorgeous home and view to the firepit in the back. We can’t wait to come back!

Our Favorite Place

Thank you for another wonderful stay at what is now our favorite place on the coast. Waking up to elk roaming the grounds, then taking a nice peaceful walk to the beach along the Sitka Sedge trail. Even though the weather wasn't great, we still had a wonderful time gazing out the windows at the amazing view. Now we know this is a great place to stay for all seasons, rain or shine!

We Loved It

One of the best rentals we have ever stayed at. Very bright and cheery interior. We loved the bird feeders and all they attracted. Everything is well labeled an easy to find. Great location for exploring the coast. Sitka Sedge being right next door was great and we enjoyed hiking there.

Best place I’ve ever stayed!

This house is just as beautiful as the photos and the experience was even better than I’d anticipated. So many thoughtful touches throughout, as well as luxury linens and other high end amenities…it was the perfect place to getaway for a long weekend. Loved the combo of nature right at your doorstep and a smart TV to watch your favorite movie when you get back from kayaking. Simply divine, would love to rent this place again in the future!

Best VRBO we have ever stayed un

The house is beautiful with a rolling green lawn down to the waters edge. We had snores around the fire pit and lazy afternoons if reading in the hammock. The kitchen and barbecue are set up perfectly. The adult suites were airy and lovely and the children loved their room. Everything is so thoughtfully designed!

Loved every minute

Gorgeous property-outstanding view and back yard and nice and accessible to trails and beach. We had a 7 year old with us and she really enjoyed the kids room an swing and hammock. Our guests already booked to come back in three weeks. Just lovely

Amazing Stay!

We had the best time at this house, the house was impeccably clean, there were many architectural features that showed the owners had really thought through the design, which we appreciated. Labeling throughout the house helped us find things easily. We brought stand-up paddleboards and kayaks and were able to go out each night when the tide came in. We hope to come back in the future!

Great Oasis

The stay was great and the communication with the property contact was excellent. I would only say that I missed in the description that the property is not bike-friendly as the road is very busy and that folks with boats really need to pay attention to the tides, but that's it. The place is so lovely, you won't want to leave.

Exceeded expectations!!

Traveled with my parents and older brother to the coast for a relaxing family vacation. The house and property are stunning! Everyone was very comfortable in all of the rooms. Although it rained our entire stay, there was no compromise to the amazing view from the home’s large windows. Easy hike to the beach from the house and just a short drive to Pacific City for amenities. We enjoyed our short stay and hope to return next year.

Great weekend getaway!

What a beautiful spot near Pacific City! The house left no attention to detail missed. It was well stocked, clean and we loved the fire pit and volleyball net outside. It’s a great spot for families or couples. The only thing the owners might want to consider is a landline in case of an emergency since there isn’t phone service. Otherwise it’s a drive into town to call someone. We will definitely be back as we loved this property.

Family Vacation

We loved the property. It was beautiful and was very well done. It has everything you need. The wild life is amazing and we saw the mom and pop eagles and there eaglets. It’s very convenient to everything. The host are very easy to communicate with. We hope to go back. Please stay here you won’t be disappointed . A week was not enough. Thank you very making our stay so special .

Outstanding accessible home

This home has an amazing view and the best stocked kitchen we’ve had in 15 years of house rentals. Stayed for a long weekend, 6 ladies in our 50s and all agreed we will go back next year. The house is truly wheelchair accessible which was what originally drew us to it, but I’d return even if that wasn’t a requirement. The layout of the house worked well for a large group. The view of the water is amazing. Plenty of parking and outdoor areas suitable for yard games. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need- from air fryer to popcorn maker. I highly recommend this property!
