Gorgeous large waterfront log lake home with private dock!

Gorgeous large Lakefront Log Home on Lake Barkley that sits on a full acre with dock on private, quiet cove. Amazing view from the dock and waterfront access directly across the cove from Prizer Point Marina on Lake Barkley. It is an excellent location for water sports and fishing. The large boat dock is ready for use for those that want to bring a boat or rent one from the local marina (Our cove generally holds water all year round, but those levels are lower in the Fall and Winter). A boat ramp is just across the cove at Prizer Point with other public ramps nearby.

This beautifully log home has three bedrooms and sleeps 10. One bedroom on the main floor, one upstairs and one in the basement. A trundle bed with two twin mattresses and a twin over full bunk bed are in the walkout basement as well. A very large downstairs area is full of fun with a pool table, Galaga and Ms. Pacman Games, board games, and a large flat screen TV with DVD player and small video library. The house is large at over 3,700 square feet, so there is plenty of room to spread out.

This home is fully furnished with everything you need for a vacation, a long weekend getaway or Holiday time with family. A fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pots and pans and appliances, including a microwave, double oven, dishwasher, full-sized refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker and a full pot coffee maker, blender, and serving trays Linens are provided and a laundry equipped with a washer and dryer will help you extend your stay or pack more lightly.

A massive wrap-around deck provides plenty of room to enjoy the lake or gaze at the stars. The downstairs patio includes a gas fire pit. The home also includes a giant gas flat grill. It is perfect for cooking a lot of food quickly! The large u-shaped driveway accommodates multiple cars and make entry and exit easy.

Long lake weekend

Beautiful house right on the lake with a great dock to swim and fish from. The hosts were great and we were close to the marina and rented a boat. The kids loved the pool table.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love the openness of the first floor but also the privacy of the 3 bedrooms. One on each floor. We will continue to stay at this beautiful place on this beautiful peaceful lake.

Wonderful week

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful property. The house was spacious and perfect set up for 3 families. The lake from the dock is beautiful and very peaceful. Great fishing! My 7 year old granddaughter caught 11 and was over the moon. It’s is very close to Prizer marina. We will definitely stay again in this beautiful home.

Beautiful home

We stayed here for closer access to drive to Illinois to view the solar eclipse. We didn’t take advantage of the lake or any lake-related activities, so we can’t speak to that. The house was as described: roomy and clean. The finished basement was very nice wtibample room for kids, who enjoyed the pool table.

Beautiful cabin home

We enjoyed out stay just before Christmas. The cabin was nicely decorated with nice linens and a well stocked kitchen. Had a little trouble with the key code lock at the front door, but maybe because it was cold or new? We used the nice fireplace, grill and kitchen a lot. Would suggest a soundbar in the den because the TV ehoes against the fireplace. Otherwise it is a very nice property and I would definitely stay again!

Reunion of 7 friends from the counseling profession. We had so much room and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Was very glad to have a boat dock to tie up boat. The negative was the steepness from the house to the water for a couple of people in the group. We borrowed a golf cart which was much needed. The home is fully equipped with everything we needed. Great Stay and had quick response to any question we had!

Fishing Trip with Family

We very much enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful with lots of wildlife. The house was very comfortable and the lake access was great. We had our 97 year old mother with us and she loved fishing from the dock and did catch a few. She is very mobile for her age, but the walk to/from the dock was a challenge for her and she did require assistance. Most would not have great difficulty with the slope. There were a few housekeeping issues, but the owners were very responsive and we were more than happy with their attentiveness and response. All-in-all, a great stay!

Beautiful waterside property with dock access!

The property was absolutely perfect! Very large and open living room/kitchen area with a wrap around porch. There was a griddle outside that we were able to cook 2 of our 3 meals on! The pool table downstairs with Galaga/Pac-Man games were perfect in the evening or when we needed a break from the water. There was amazing fishing off the dock. We tied floats to the dock and swam. We will absolutely be staying back here! Only item I would say is if you sleep in the basement bedroom, it is loud when the a/c kicks on and off, however it was perfect white noise for me. We loved this property & my questions I had during the stay were answered immediately. Definitely a must stay!

Family weekend on the lake

This beautiful, spacious home was perfect for our family gathering! We came together from Nashville, Memphis and Houston and needed to be near my father’s hometown of Princeton, Kentucky. We wanted a place comfortably large enough for all of us rather than individual hotel rooms. This was all of that and much more! The home is beautiful, perfectly situated on the water, the kitchen is well–appointed for any of our cooking needs, and the living and sleeping spaces were spacious and more than comfortable with really nice linens and towels. We enjoyed the water with the available floats and paddle board and worked on our pool shooting skills as well. Kathryn and Randy were very helpful to us when we had questions or needs, easy to reach and very responsive. We definitely hope to return here someday and highly recommend it!

Perfect lakeside paradise!

We rented this lakefront home with 2 other couples. We’re all late 50’s to 60 yrs old. Place was excellent for cooking, visiting, docking our boat, and getting around the lake. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need. Owners were great with communication and neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Gentle slope from house to dock, but there are a few steps in the side of the hill that are a bit wonky, like fun house steps. Lol!!! Just pay attention when you’re on them. Besides that everything was perfect!!! We will probably book again 😊

Great location

My 4 adult sons and I had a wonderful stay. The ramp for our pontoon boat was just minutes away from the dock of the house. There are no stairs down to the lake but it isn’t a problem for most folks. The bottom floor had a pool table with a bedroom/bathroom. This floor was chilly which we appreciated. The main floor had a bedroom without an adjoining bath but the hall bath was close. The top floor had a bedroom/bathroom. Each floor going up was a little warmer. It was in the mid 80s during our stay and the whole house was very comfortable. Two of my sons slept on mattresses in the basement. We knew this going in. Overall it was a fantastic trip with days spent greatly on the water and evenings in the cabin.

Lake house

The house was lovely and very clean. The outside does not match the inside. As soon as you go inside the huge great room and stone fireplace are beautiful. Lots of floor space for blow ups. Only three actual bedrooms but all have their own bathrooms which was nice. There is a lot of space in the house for a large family. I loved that we could all gather in the great room with the open kitchen and never felt cramped. Enjoyed the large table for family meals. The walk down to the lake was a bit steep for very young or elderly folks. After it rained it was a bit of a slippery slope. We were full of anticipation as we had read how good the fishing is in Lake Barkley, but after hours and days we came up empty. We did not have the advantage of a boat however. The lake was warm and very private so we floated on rafts most of the day without any lake traffic. The views are lovely and the overall experience was great.

Wonderful family lake getaway!!

Wonderful stay me and my family had over the 4th of July holiday! Pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful this home is. Location is perfect! It’s right on the lake with your own personal dock. Prizer point marina is a short drive from the property to put your boat in or rent an affordable boat for your trip. The Marina is directly across from your dock, approx 2 min boat ride. Eddyville is about 20 min from the house, and has a dollar general, food giant etc. The home is very spacious yet cozy. It’s got everything you need to make your stay both comfortable and relaxing. Plenty of room for our big family. Great for kids. My two kids ages 3 and 6 literally had the time of their lives! The basement had a pool table, arcade games, and board games; plenty to keep everyone entertained on rainy days. The outdoor deck is perfect for your early morning coffee before starting your day or late night hang out spot! Katherine and Randy were excellent hosts, willing to go above and beyond. They were always reachable and checked in periodically just to make sure all was well and we were comfortable. They provided a list of nearby amenities and things to do also. We will definitely be staying again!

Very Relaxing Week

Our entire family stayed at this property and it was a very relaxing and an enjoyable time for all ages. We had 6 adults and small children and the house was very large and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and answered all questions very quickly! The boat dock was in great shape, and we brought our kayaks and enjoyed the quite cove with our family. We also rented a pontoon boat from the marina across the lake. We will definitely be renting this property again.

Fantastic Accommodations

We had an amazing time at this house. Our families were coming from KY, SC and CO to relax and hangout. This house was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. The hostess was awesome. She checked in on us daily to see if we needed anything. The Prizer marina is right across the cove and made easy access for getting a boat, a five minute drive. It was nice to be able to dock the boat and stop at the house to pick up food or drinks and then head back out on the boat. The kids spent the evenings jumping off the dock and swimming. They were able to float around the cove without any worries. They also enjoyed the SUP. It was good for a few laughs with my husband too. We were able to enjoy some fishing in the evenings too. It was so quiet the whole time we were there. If we are ever in this neck of the woods again, we will definitely rebook at this house. I highly recommend this house!!!

First time at Barkley Lake

Emjoyed our first visit to the area. The lake was great and the house was a short distance to the marina by both car and boat. Spacious house...our young granddaughters loved the extra play space in the basement. Owners were prompt in responding to any questions.
