Michelle our host was excellent! I had messed up our reservation dates and she rescheduled us with no hassle. The home was very clean and many hospitable touches made the cabin feel very welcoming!

On the lake

The location of the cabin was amazing! Very short walk down the hill to the water where we could fish. There was everything at the cabin we could need and the host was nice enough to leave us some yummy snacks. The cabin was in the woods and very quiet and peaceful. Lots of wildlife around.

The host was there when we got there and she was awesome! The game room was where we spent most of the time and we had a blast. Two grills were there and it was so much fun coming and watching nature. We ate breakfast at a restaurant just down the street and I have to say it was the best. Friends saw our pictures and now they are going to book stays there. Beware of the ghost woodpecker though! We never could find it. Thank you for the great weekend!

Very nice cabin. It had everything we needed. We spent most of the time in the basement playing games. Comfortable beds, great showers. In the woods, it was nice for coffee on the porch. Not too far from things to do and see. Would definitely recommend if you don’t want to stay in the middle of a congested area. Lots of deer

Great vacation!

It’s a beautiful rustic place to stay. The cabin was roomy and very clean. It wasn’t actually 4 bedrooms. There were 3 bedrooms and then the loft had a very comfortable double/twin bunk bed, just no privacy for sleeping in. The walk down to the lake was easy, but there was poison ivy, so beware if you’re allergic to it. But the views were great. We saw a lot of wildlife in the evenings and that was fun for my grandson. The kids and adults really enjoyed the game room downstairs. Overall, I think it’s a really good place to stay and would recommend it for a family get together.

I am from Eddyville and really enjoy the lake. Water is my best friend. The people here are so friendly. I love living here and now I get to host a vacation rental in my town! I am so excited to see where this journey will take me!

The neighbourhood is so peaceful and the home sits hidden in its own little nook. Breathtaking scenery and a view of lake Barkley on the back porch!

This cabin is particularly unique, as it was built using only lumber from the actual land it sits on! It started as a vision from the owner’s father and was made a reality a short time later. Such a beautiful home with 3 bedrooms, a loft, and 3 bathrooms and a porch that wraps around the entire home!
