The space
You can walk or scooter anywhere from this home. Restaurants, bars, shops, grocery stores, Texas Capitol, UT football & baseball stadium, Frank Erwin Center, Moody Theater, Paramount Theatre, Museums, Convention Center, Lady Bird Lake and much more! Many surrounding outdoor activities like swimming at barton springs or biking and kayaking at Lady Bird Lake are only minutes away. Popular areas like Rainey St, Dirty 6th St, West 6th St, East 6th St, Warehouse District, and S. Congress Ave. (SOCO), are also right down the street.

With so much to do in the area, you’ll appreciate having the warm and cozy feeling this property gives you. Originally built in 1920 and updated since, this home is two stories with original wood flooring throughout. Each floor has a full bath and kitchen/kitchenette for your convenience. Each floor also has its own smart TV and thermostat. The property provides washer/dryer, dishwasher, range/oven, 2 refrigerators and 2 microwaves to fulfill all your appliance needs. Fiber WiFi is available on the entire property.

All bedrooms are equipped with comfortable memory foam mattress beds and ceiling fans. After a good nights rest, enjoy your coffee on one of the two porches or on the second floor balcony. Great Location

I was in charge of finding the place to stay for a guys trip to Austin and I’m happy I booked this one. The beds were all comfortable with nice, clean bedding, along with clean white towels. This is a great location that’s walkable to the bar areas but not too close to them where you have drunk people all around at night. The owner was professional and easy to work with and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for letting us stay here!

Great spot for a small bachelor party group

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelor party. We had an incredible weekend, and I’d say the property was definitely a contributing factor. It was clean and offered separate spaces for everyone to sleep. The back porch is screened in with a roof and proved to be a particularly great place to hang out during the periods of time we were hanging at the house. The layout of the house is certainly unique - I thought it was difficult to understand the layout from the pictures but rest assured that the layout works well. My only word of caution would be to recognize the need to keep noise levels in check. We were fine playing a decent amount of music and talking, but there was a point where we let the music get a bit loud during the afternoon; however, the owner gave us the heads up and asked to (very respectfully) turn it down a bit so it wasn’t a big deal.

Great place in great location in East Austin

Great spacious place with plenty of beds for guests in a prime location in east Austin. Would recommend.
