Are you in search of a true mountain getaway? If so, this charming plumber’s cabin is for you. Don't miss out on this rustic and updated beauty in Big Canoe! Situated in the heart of the stunning North West Georgia Mountains, this spacious abode is the ideal haven for a vacation getaway!

Big Canoe is a one of a kind mountain community, ideally located just one hour north of Atlanta, Georgia and metro area airports. Inside the gates, you will find three championship golf courses, two indoor and eight outdoor tennis courts, and a fitness center with an indoor swimming pool. Enjoy three pristine mountain lakes, Lake Sconti, Lake Disharoon and Lake Petit. Lake Petite features a full marina with Pontoon Boats, Jon Boats, Kayaks, and Paddle Boards available for rental. If hiking is your game, than you will enjoy the 20 plus miles of hiking trails winding through creeks, waterfalls and the lush forest.

When you enter this cabin, you'll notice its lovely woodwork, open wood beams and vaulted ceilings. The main level has a cozy fireside family room that boasts a wood-burning fireplace, floor to ceiling windows, an updated kitchen and a dining room that screams "oh my goodness"! You will also find a flat screen TV with local and national sports channels, along with Netflix streaming videos, as well as a selection of games and DVDs, along with free WiFi.
This charming home has three bedrooms, as well as 2 full bathrooms. This cabin can accommodate up to six guests. The first bedroom is located on the main level and includes a queen-size bed along with a walk in closet. On the lower level, the second bedroom, boasting a bear theme, also provides a queen-size bed. The third bedroom includes two twin beds. The second bathroom is on this level. You will find another large family room. A washer/dryer is available for you as well. There are double doors that lead out to the lower level porch, which is a perfect spot for your morning coffee or your evening happy hour. There is also a swing for two for bird watching.

We loved our stay! The cabin was so adorable, and had everything we needed. We loved the peaceful, secluded location, as well as the winding roads to get there! The water amenities were wonderful, albeit a little pricey (which of course is no fault of the property owner!). I would book another girls trip here in a heartbeat!

Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay at all. The resort community is set in a nice environment, but the cabin itself was extremely dated. The entire interior had a heavy musty smell, and sitting on the furniture—both indoor and outdoor—left our skin feeling itchy. This needs a major deep clean and renovation.

We really enjoyed staying at the property! The house was provided with plenty of amenities that we needed for our stay. Beautiful views, lots of animal life in the area! We really enjoyed the lake and pool area, lots of walking paths to enjoy some outdoor time! Even saw a bear cub, which was super exciting! The host was great we didn’t really need them for anything during our stay, but communicated well before hand to provide us all the details and information of our stay. Even communicated the day we departed to see how our stay was! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Big Canoe is beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked right down to the coffee for the coffee pot. Very clean well furnished. I would come back again. Host is quick to answer any questions you may have.

We loved our week in Big Canoe. The cabin was extremely clean and well appointed. Our hosts were super responsive and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. Both patios are comfy and clean. We loved drinking our coffee while watching the wild life. Our girls even spotted a little bear playing off in the distance. Big Canoe itself is a wonderful property with so much to do. The girls loved the beach club and food at the club house was excellent. Off property restaurants were also excellent. We highly recommend the property, cabin and hosts.

The retreat had everything you need for a short weekend or longer stay! We were only a family of three, but it could accommodate a larger family with separate bedrooms and downstairs hang out area. The screened porch is AMAZING! The community has so much to offer! We used the indoor pool and hiked the Lower Falls trail.

Our Vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Perfect experience for being in the mountains. We saw all kinds or wild life.and great access to the marina. Such much to do and the cabin was the perfect place to stay to have the experience my family was looking for.

Lovely cabin nestled in the woods. Really loved our stay and especially morning coffee on the screen porch. Only thing was lack of sound privacy. Very easy to hear anything from any room. Otherwise a great cabin and stay!

We had a wonderful time in the mountain cabin. Very cozy and warm decor. Home was very clean and well stocked dishes, utensils, pots, pans and appliances. Beds were very comfy. Perfect for a family stay.
