Kensington Quarters is a stunningly remodeled guest apartment w/ new private deck retreat. Centrally located in coveted neighborhood in the Kensington/Berkeley Hills. Boutique hotel-like living room, bedroom, full kitchen, and full bath with walk in shower. Strolling (1/2 block) distance to Kensington Village. On central bus lines to downtown Berkeley (2 m) and San Francisco (11 m), 1.1 m from Bart station. Includes dedicated parking spot. Host is available for any needs or recommendations. Garden entrance to private deck with hanging lounge and swing chair. Living room with large windows, big flat screen tv w/ fire stick and direct tv, electric fireplace w/ color options and heat, pull out sofa w feather bed and linens. Lovely bedroom w/ queen bed and linens, closet w/ light, full mirror and zone heating control. Brand new, fully appointed kitchen w/refrigerator, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, toaster, blender, Keurig, coffee press, coffee, tea, and bar counter for seating. Large full bath w/ walk in shower w/ rain shower head, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and bluetooth fan for music.

Beautiful neighborhood and we easily walked to local shops and cafes. Riding the BART and making our way to Fisherman’s Wharf went smoothly and we enjoyed a day in nearby Muir Woods. Our accommodations were terrific: spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, fantastic shower, nicely appointed kitchen and lovely decor! Hope to be back again soon!

What a delicious place to stay. Warm, easy host. The pictures don’t do it justice. Highlights for me lounging on the back porch swing, a deep sleep at night in the quiet neighborhood and oh… The shower!

We had a wonderful time at "Kensington Quarters". Trish, the host, went above & beyond to make us feel welcome & at home. The bed was comfy, the house was warm, quiet & cozy with lots of fun decor throughout, and the SHOWER was amazing!!! Thank you, Trish!

A nice staycation

It was a very cute space, very convenient. I could hear the dogs around, but not a bother. Glad we chose to stay here for our staycation.

Great stay!

We were in the Bay Area for a wedding in Berkeley. This VRBO was the perfect location for us. The unit has all the essentials--nice bed, nice coffee maker, nice shower, nice living room--but is also very artfully decorated. And Kensington is a beautiful area. We would stay here again!

Quiet, clean, and great location

This is a great 1 BR basement apartment with a new kitchen and bathroom. The owner is highly responsive, and most East Bay locations are easily accessible. Walkable to downtown Kensington. I would return again!
